Yanks currently up 3-0 in Game 4. If we win, we head back to the Bronx for the last game. I didn’t expect this series to be so tough.

Might not even get Game 5 in tonight, the rain isn't supposed to let up until after 10 or 11 PM. If they postpone for tomorrow, that erases the rest / travel day for the ALDS winner. Not ideal.

Long-suffering Phils fan here. To reach the World Series after a 22-29 start is crazy. But they did just enough to get in, then their bats got hot and Harper's playing lights out.

 

I don't like how they stack up against the trash can bangers, but if they keep swinging it like this why not? If the bats go cold they're done. But they have just enough pitching to keep them in it if they can keep hitting the ball. That defense could blow any game. But they've now knocked off the Cards, the Braves and the Padres. You never know.

When it was 5-0 I had nearly given up on the night. Verlander cruising, on the road against a top team. But these Phils don't quit. Great win. Long way to go and Houston won't lay down. But that has to affect them mentally. To blow a 5 run lead at home with your ace on the hill has got to sting and they know now they're in a series.

It almost happened against the Braves, too. So 3 teams in one postseason almost matched the amount of the previous 100+ years lol

Dodgers have the worst luck, 10 years of getting bounced after performing so well in the regular season and only one ring to show for it.. and it came in the shortest season ever lol. Time for a managerial switch? Think it might be time to move on from Kershaw, too.

Too bad my Yanks couldn’t stay sharp. Too many mental errors on the field. The bats woke up but they ended up beating themselves. I was just 9 years old the last time I saw them play in the WS, this time it came and went so fast I didn’t really get to take it all in.
