so happy the Giants held on to the division. I did not want that one game with the cards at all.

f*ck the Dodgers. BeatLA.

I'm so f*cking nervous.

RIP Giants :kekw:

I really don't care about none of these teams this year. f*ck Boston and f*ck Alex Cora 🖕, f*ck Houston, f*ck Atlanta, and f*ck LA.

Giants got f*cked over by an umpire that had been pulling the same sh*t all year. At this point I’m not watching because I’m uninterested in any of the remaining teams.. but I do want the Astros to beat the Sox tho.

yeah I mean that was a bullsh*t call. sh*tty way to end a great year. Doubt much would have changed but would have loved for Wilmer to at least have a shot.

the bigger issue IMO is the 5th inning Kris Bryant AB. 5 straight balls but somehow two were called strikes. Should have been a walk, would have been runners on first and second with no one out but it’s a K instead. That’s the one I keep looking back at.

It's time for the hall of fame. I say let all those PED guys in except for A-Rod :kekw::kekw::kekw::kekw::kekw::kekw:

Hall of Fame voting is a mess. It's a shame and it shouldn't be like this. Ortiz has Hall-worthy numbers, even if he suffers on WAR because as a DH he has little positional value. But the DH has been around for what, 50 years now? It's a legit position, even if it could be argued it should not be. The issue I take with this is Ortiz himself is tainted by the PED era, he tested positive in 2003. This selective justice being applied by these nitwit baseball writers is illogical. That Clemens, Bonds and Sosa for example will never get in, while other players no cleaner enjoy enshrinement makes the whole thing farcical.

And Curt Shilling should be in the Hall of Fame. Now he's done, unless the last-chance committee votes him in.  And Pete Rose too.

Bonds pissed off the writers and reporters when he was playing. Aside from roids they hate him because he wasn't nice to them 15 years ago :kekw::kekw::kekw::kekw:

Yes, that's part of the problem. Take Schilling's case. His numbers, titles and awards are hall-worthy. But the voters take issue with his politics and deny entry. It's a joke. That some keyboard warrior dispenses 'justice' over his subjective morality and excludes a worthy candidate based on his feelings. There will always be fringe cases, guys like Kent, Whittaker and Wagner for example, and their careers can rightfully be debated on their merits. In Schilling's case it should be a slam dunk inclusion, but his eligibility is now over, because some pencil pushers get their panties twisted over comments they don't care for.

Schilling retired with the greatest strikeout-to-walk rate since the mound distance was set in the 19th century. He once struck out more than 300 batters with fewer walks (33) than starts (35). He is one of only four pitchers to strike out 300 batters in a season three times since 1900. The others are Randy Johnson, Nolan Ryan and Sandy Koufax. Schilling should be in the Hall, but he is the best player kept out of Cooperstown because of behavior after his career.

The process has little credibility with me any more. Is it a purity test or a reflection of the player's baseball career?

Exactly this. Hall of Fame is a joke in my eyes now.

Clayton Kershaw is now the Dodgers all-time strikeouts leader, you love to see it. Still mad that Roberts pulled him from his chance at a perfect game.

Joe Maddon fired. Angels have no idea what they’re doing. They are wasting Trout and Ohtani’s careers.

Trout is 7-46 in their 13 game losing streak, including a 26 AB hit-less streak

Soto gone SMH.

Just letting all of our big names go Harper, Rendon, Turner, Soto. This rebuild is gonna be painful.

Tatis tests positive for PEDs and gets suspended 80 games. Terrible because he’s kind of considered the face of MLB.

3k+ hits and 700 HR. Such an exclusive club, well deserved. I know this must be a weight off of his chest just prior to retirement.

My postseason predictions;
