Never thought I'd say this in 2020 (after March) but TODAY'S OPENING DAY!

 

Yankees have been playing pretty good in Summer Camp, Aaron Judge has been on a great streak; hopefully this carries over today and onwards.

 

Still doubt the season will actually finish without a hitch.

Blue Jays playing in Buffalo. Turning a AAA stadium into an MLB one is interesting. I wonder if the changes to the stadium are going to be permanent why do Minor league players get sh*t equipment and facilities?

Giants almost scored in all 9 innings, failed in the 9th. Which only happened 4 times in MLB history; 1897 Chicago Colts, 1923 New York Giants, 1964 Cardinals and 1999 Colorado Rockies no-less. lol

 

There has been 15 times a home team scored in all 8 innings, Rockies did that too in 2001.

Ever since Gleyber came back from the D.L with new glasses, he's been on a tear; and so have the Yankees.

 

Hopefully by the time Judge and Stanton come back, they'll be in a good position to survive the postseason.

So far so good, speaking as a Yankees fan. Rays are definitely the best team of 2020, aside from the Dodgers. Astros should continue losing this series.

Funny thing is, whoever won would've had two sport championships since the Lightning won earlier. Citites with multiple sport championships in the same year is either LA or Boston for the most part.

 

Hell, Tampa Bay could have 3 sports teams play for a title if the Bucs make it AND they would be playing in their home stadium.

Out of all the places to host a WS they chose Texas with it's high number of COVID cases. They should have picked a different location with lower COVID cases. Maybe asked Canada to allow them to play in Toronto like what the NHL did.
