Unpopular opinion: Vlad wearing an Angels hat on his plaque is the right call, though Bobby Grich should already have been inducted.

Six players going in. Five deserving, plus an all time mistake in Jack Morris.

The BBWAA could elect four more next year in Mo, Edgar, Doc and Moose.

It would have been cool to see him with an Expos hat but his best years and most memorable moments were with the Angels

Next year is gonna be interesting with Marino Rivera on the ballot and the year after that with Jeter. I wonder if they'll get 100% in voting or that writer or two for whatever reason doesn't vote for them.

Not really that unpopular of an opinion. We just live in a world where everyone overreacts to everything, so they act like he was a has been by 2003, and never played any meaningful baseball as an Angel to strengthen their reactionary opinions.

In other words someone doesnt get their way, they cry really loud and hard because thanks to the internet, they have a soapbox.

For Vlad to have been a has been by 2003, that would've been before his 30th birthday. How many players were locks before they turned 30? I can think of two: Pujols and Kershaw, and it looks like Trout will be the third.

Also, the Brewers had a good day with Lorenzo Cain going back to his original organization after they helped give the Royals a championship.

Opening day

I hope my nats make a deep run this year it's Harper's final year on his contract and I hope we can win the series with him, Zimmerman, Turner, Murphy, Scherzer and Strasburg while they're all still here.

I hope we can pay Harper to stay but the Lerner's are cheap

Fly the W! 1 down, 161 to go. Ian Happ first pitch of the season is a homer.

Lester didn't look great today, with Cishek getting the win. Three homers with with from Rizzo and Schwarber. I love how they worked Urena there in that first inning by running up the pitches and were actually hit three times.

Shohei Ohtani has earned a win in his first start as pitcher and homered in his next game in the first two innings as a non-pitcher. Hes the first player since Babe Ruth to do so.

My favorite team is the Padres, too bad they've been f*cking terrible for the past two decades.

Four losses in a row, still no wins.

Sameen-s-classic-eye-roll-and-head-shake

Here's to another sh*tty season.

BTW, is anyone else here getting free Jumbo Jacks at JITB when you buy a large drink the day after your team hits a homer? Or is that just a San Diego County thing?

Ohtani hits three home runs in three games to start the week, and then retires 19 straight and throws a one hitter in 7 innings earning 12 strikeouts in his first start in Anaheim.

Nice to see the Yankees becoming the new Mets.... and the Mets suddenly becoming the best team in baseball.

What the f*ck happened to the Rays?? Even saw a game they had against Boston where they were leading like 8-3 into the middle innings, took a nap and woke up to see Boston won like 9-8 or something.

Jose Bautista signs with The Braves. He was a dumbass asking Toronto for more money at his age

Rockies had a one game lead on June 1st.

They are now 6 games back from the division lead.

F*ckin garbage

Now they're back up there in the division

They're also the first team in MLB history to face a .500+ team in 40 straight games and having a .600 win percentage in that span. Now they just need to finish the season on this streak

Nats trade Murphy to the cubs f*ck... It's been a pretty rough season for this team. I'm not looking forward to the offseason we're probably not going to resign Harper.

There were reports that the Dodgers claimed Harper off of the waivers as well but they couldn't settle on a trade. Whew.

I wouldn't really be mad if he went to the Dodgers tbh. Just not the Yankees.
