I turned it off and went to watch my show when it was 9-12 going into the 9th, I must've missed a great ending. lol

Dodgers blew a 4-0 lead, and then a 7-4 lead, just for the Astros to blow a 12-9 lead.

5-0 Astros in the bottom of the 2nd. Darvish has been pulled.

Astros won Beltran, McCann, and Verlander finally get rings.

Astros totally dominated that game.

f/ck that.

disasters don't determine winners.

;)

Darvish really blew that for the Dodgers, that was disappointing to witness. Astros didn't score anything after he was taken out.

Its for the best. The Dodgers winning would have meant I would never hear the end of it from all the Dodgers fans around me. As if Im upset about it, I like the Dodgers. They just hear Im an Angels fan, and they feel like they need to be sh*tty about it. I miss when they were sh*tty about it, but I could at least say the Angels were good.

But anyway, Springer has been a fun player to watch come into his prime. Ive always thought of him as a Mike Trout lite. Hes just on the same team as Jose 'literally Mike Trout' Altuve.

dude I've said it before and I'll say it again; MLB pitcher is the most dangerous position in pro sports.

what the f/ck. more of these guys die in freak accidents than anybody else.

apparently he was flying a 'stunt' plane and people in the area had seen him flying dangerous tricks in the past...

Ohtani signs with the Angels. I don't know if I believe the hype the MLB is on a completely different level than Japan and he will struggle. I kinda wish he signed with an NL team so he could pitch and then play in the outfield on off days.

In other news Rafael Palmeiro belives he can make a comback lol

No Use For A Name

I grew up two things, a Florida Marlins fan and a New York Yankees hater. Stanton was my favorite player, and my first favorite Marlin since Jeff Conine was traded away in 98. It took me awhile to get emotionally attached to another player since there wasnt really a point - theyd just get shipped off in another salary dump eventually

Im crushed. I feel like I lost a family member.

Im done with this f*cking team.

I nearly sh*t myself when I heard the Yankees basically landed Stanton, especially with how quickly things took off. I thought for sure he was heading west to SF but then news broke that he was interested in either the Dodgers or the Yanks.. crazy sh*t.

We all knew Miami would not hold onto Stanton with that contract. It was kind of insane that he was given that much by a team with almost nothing else to show for it.

I have no idea why the Dodgers wouldnt make the same offer as the Yankees. They basically sold Stanton wholesale.

So now, instead of playing in his hometown, hes playing for the evil empire. f*ck you, Miami Marlins, you deserve every bit of failure you receive.

I thought pinstripes would look kinda meh on him but I guess maybe I'm wrong

Poor Castro, though. I'm gonna miss seeing him play for the yanks. Great attitude and personality. He didn't deserve to be traded to a team in such bad shape imo, but maybe things wont be so bad for him..

Buying a WS championship when they were one game away from making it through to face the Dodgers, even without Stanton? I would hardly call it that..

And where one game from being eliminated in the series before.

They were the 2nd highest payroll, behind the Dodgers. Now most likely the highest.

Just more proof that Mets ownership is small-time. The Yankees economic model is "unsustainable"???? Really Fred? Where have this fool been the past 40+ years, lol. Instead of being upset at the Yankees for caring about winning, concentrate on your own team.
