Tigers are eating up their payroll, they just signed victor Martinez to a big deal, I guess they don't think pitching is all that important. Looks like royals or another al central team has a good chance at the winning the al central next year.

$68,000 a day for 13 years is great for Stanton. The marlins can do whatever they want with their money, they can make all the stupid choices they want it's not like the 20 people that attend the marlins hideous ballpark care anyway. I might be raging at the marlins but they really need to get the people of Miami interested in baseball. Who knows what that will entail? Playing good baseball didn't help Tampa Bay increase their attendance.

Nelson Cruz going to the Mariners. I think his numbers will decline because of the dimensions at Safeco field and he's about to be 35 and could decline but I could be wrong and he could have another good year.

Why is it the wrong market? A huge market seems like the right market. And Puig, although not exactly a poster boy for sportsmanship, is hugely popular. A hugely popular player in a huge market.
