Alright Royals... push this to a 7 game World Series.

EDIT -

Watching the 2nd inning right now, Giants running into a LOT of bad luck on the field.

I want to see a comeback here. What a spectacular story and WS clincher it would be.

7 run 2nd inning for the Royals. Looks like this one might be over already!

Yep. 10-0 bottom on the 7th. Game 7 here it comes!

World Series fact. Largest shut-out(10-0) since 1985 game 7, Royals beat Cardinals 11-0. That just means Royals will win game 7 :p

ILAK is Peavy available again tonight???? Just kidding. This has been a fun series even though the games weren't really that close.

Tonight should be fun!

Yea, only game 3 was. 3-2 Royals

Therefore I expect a walk-off grand-slam with two outs and two strikes. 4-3 winner :bbq:

That would kill me. I dont think I would ever recover if that were to happen.

Your right BBQ is way better than that sh*t. I have actually never had it but still. :p

This game tonight is nto gonna be fun. I'm going to be a big ball of stress. Especially if its a close game.

I second that. I guess it's from seeing them crush the pirates in the wildcard. But i have not problem amditting that the giants are a damn good team. Crazy how resilient the royals have been & that second inning yesterday was amazing.

WOW congrats to the giants. After seeing them beat my team, i watched them the whole world series and they had a long journey to this win. Now hopefully next year the pirates can be in that spot(cross fingers).

ILAK i know your somewhere jumping around in joy right now lol.

When Gordon hit that triple I thought it was destiny. I honestly thought the Royals were going to win at that point

Yep... imagine it was Cain that hit that ball... probably would have been an inside the park homerun at that moment.

Congratulations Giants, bummer.. and Bumgarner is seriously something, dude's going to get a LOT of respect next season.

Idk, I think they should have waved the royals runner home with 2 outs. It would have been close but hey you're about to possibly lose at that point anyway. Take a chance.

Man that was fun. I've been a Royals fan for twenty years and a diehard fan for at least 10. I wasn't old enough to enjoy the Royals glory years in the 70's and 80's so this was a life changing experience for me.

As far as the Gorson hit, he has some speed. Gordon's a health nut so I don't think lost gas but when Perez(I think) kicked it, I thought he had a chance. The only players on the Royals roster that get the inside the parker are Dyson and Gore.(neither of them would have got the hit though)

Congrats ILAK!!!

What a Season by The Royals. Like I said earlier, If it was any other team they were playing I would be rooting for them. They went from nothing to an amazing Baseball team in no time at all.

But I could not be more happy right now. 3 in 5 years is absolutely awesome.

One thing I am confused about though. Why did Bumgarner get the win? Shouldn't it have been Affeldt?

I'm Jealous!

Its so hard to make the postseason in baseball it's scary to think when we'll get this chance again. The Royals and Giants gave the blue print for how to win in the postseason the landscape of baseball will be greatly affected.

Royals will be good for years to come. I think they can be back as son as next year. They are Young and now they are exerienced. Nextyear might just be even more special.

Royals and cards in the WS next year.

It wont be the Giants cause its an Odd number year.

It will be interesting to see how sabermetrics change now that clearly the steroid era is over. The teams that were in the AlCS and NLCS I think they have a head start on the transition to athleticism and pitching in MLB, not home runs.

It was changed like an hour after the game, that he got the win and Bumgarnerr got the save.

I fall asleep so I missed the game after it was 2-2. Ha

I bet that Chey guy's hands was pretty sweaty in that handshake. lol

So after reading how the game ended http://www.businessinsider.com/san-francisco-giants-world-series-2014-10Gordon could've had a great shot at running home instead of stopping at third. Bad play on the 3rd base coach and for Gordon looking back at the ball, instead of the coach. Sucks

Yeah about an hour after the game, the more they replayed that hit on MLB Network (since they also had a feeling he had a chance) he was actually looking back at the ball constantly, which is something that slows you down a bit... the minute the ball got to Crawford he should have been ALMOST halfway towards home before the throw... I've had the TV on mute during his interviews (probably about that play since they kept showing it in the background) so I'm not sure what he had to say about that.

Had he gone home, He would have been thrown out by 15 feet.

Maybe it is becasue he was watchign the ball who knows. But he definetly didnt look as fast as he is. He is fast right?

And Rocky, Yea I saw they changed that last night. I dont know how the official scorer had that a W for Bumgarner anyway. I wonder what his explanation would have been.

He was at third at this point in the relay throw, he even slowed up about 10 feet from third

screen-shot-2014-10-30-at-7-49-21-am-2.p

They calculated him running at a max of 18.7mph. So we can calculate that he can run 90 feet in about 3.3 seconds. Then we can assume Morse can throw the ball 75mph, which can cover 150 feet(estimating that's how far he is from home) in 1.37 seconds, but that's not taking turning around and lining up the throw into account. So, theoretically, I believe he could've ran home much easier than a perfect throw from that distance.

Comparing the two situations: stopping at 3rd or continuing onto home. I think Gordon or the 3rd base coach wouldn't have taken a lot of heat if he waved him onto home and the throw was perfect enough to get him out. Considering they was already down 2 strikes at that point.

San Francisco sucks anyhow.

props to the Giants as a team, but that city doesn't deserve that dynasty.
