If the cardnials make it to the World Series, the Yankees will sh*t ON THEM.

I doubt it.

especially now that Jeter f*cked up his ankle and is done until next year.

CARDINALS > all

suck on that Washington.

How's that going to happen?

The Giants have battled back from a series 3-1 deficit, to tie it up and force game 7. I like both teams, but I have to stay with a Californian team.

as much as the Giants were great, the Cardinals were just as bad.

it was St. Louis' series to lose... and they lost it.

either team could have gone on to beat Detroit (especially since St. Louis did JUST THAT in 2006). you have to tip your cap to San Francisco for not giving up. but the Red Birds deserve just as much blame as the Giants deserve credit. just terrible. 3 elimination games in a row and they completely forgot how to bat. they almost got shut out every single time against pitchers (like Barry Zito) that they historically batted very well against.

the Giants will likely win the World Series because they are hot and the Tigers have cooled off.

that's why the World Series was so easy for the Cardinals to win in 2006, because Detroit had too much time off and lost all their momentum.

Giants win! What a run for them. Coming back in the DS, and then the CS, and then dominating in the WS.

That said. f*ck you Sandoval for not playing better in the regular season for my fantasy team.

that's why "fantasy" anything is stupid (imo).

I don't play fantasy sports because it makes you numb to the accomplishments of the team.

sports were never about the individual (aside from tennis or golf).

fantasy sports take the enjoyment out of the season because everyone is so worried about their personal numbers.

I still can't believe the Giants just swept Detroit.

I thought Verlander would win ONE game. incredible run by San Francisco.

Fantasy isn't bad. What I said about Sandoval was purely tongue in cheek.

The Giants are "my NL team", so this is almost the most happy way the season could end for me. Of course there are several other scenarios involving the Angels that I'd prefer to happen before this.

Trout takes AL ROY while Harper takes the NL ROY. No surprise there.

Trout also got the Silver Slugger while getting snubbed for Gold Glove. Which I think it's ridiculous. Not only does Trout have like 15 OF assists, he made at least 5 spectacular home run robbing catches, along with numerous catches that are out of the reach of most players, on top of a superior fielding percentage. Not to say Adam Jones was bad, Trout was just better in almost every way.

There is a silver lining to that snub. It's far worse than losing the MVP to Cabrera, and make that snub more bearable.

I Love Anna Kournikova

Posey wins NL MVP. icon14.gifsmile.gif

As far as AL MVP goes, I really don't have a opinion. At first I thought Cabrera no doubt. Then hearing the case for Trout, I was thinking he shoud win. I have been back and fourth so much with it I Don't even kmow anymore.

Got to love Buster.

About the AL MVP, I don't even care. We obviously know who I thought was the better player.

Man, the Blue Jays just fleeced the Marlins and now signed Melky Cabrera. This team's gonna be exciting to watch next year.

As if the division isn't tough enogh already. Now add Toronto, and you know Boston will bounce back - damn.

I hope, for their sake that Melky doesn't need the steroids to play well. It'll be interesting to see that division next season. As for Boston, sure they'll bounce back, but it could be this year, or five years from now. Right now, they don't look too hot.

It seems like the shallow free agent market is paying off big time for those lucky enough to be in it. Greinke is getting paid a king's ransom, but as long as it's not by the Rangers I'm happy.
