Thanks for your kind comment.

I'm definitely not a fan of any spoilers to be honest. I consider spoilers as kind of fun stuff, but they seem to be misplaced on a real pimp ride but that's just my opinion.

I could add one but the chances are pretty low. But maybe my mind will change when I move to another car for pimpin'. If I'll add a spoiler it probably won't be very big.

Possibility of window tints to finish it off?

Definitely yes! But first I have to teach myself how to get this effect. I'm very new to modelling but this would be the next step cause a pimp don't want others to look in his car. cool.gif

Stay tuned!

Thats good to hear ^ I know your new to modelling; but you've done a fantastic job so far.

Whats with the front grill in the 1st and last pics?

Last of all; a new name for car? and to see it in other colours

You're right, I didn't noticed that. The pics where taken with separate cars. You can modify some body parts just with a trainer and this Schafter had the "sport grille" enabled though I prefer the stock grille mostly.

Last of all; a new name for car?

I was thinking about that too but finally it's only some kind of privately tuned car which doesn't need a new name. It's still a Schafter 6.5 V12SC. Maybe call it Schafter 6.5 Black Series.

and to see it in other colours

This is depending on the car I think. If it is a modern "muscle car" like this one I prefer only two colors: Black or white. Besides this I recommend dark colors for this car cause the wheels are very wide.

Due to the lowered suspension and the wide wheels, you can see slightly that the tyres are visually touching the wings a bit when driving. This doesn't disturb me much and doesn't limit the models functions.

I cannot avoid this with wide wheels/sport suspension cause GTA IV doesn't allow negative camber on the wheels, I´ve tried that and the wheels will not work correctly anymore.

With negative camber I could lower the car much more without the tyres touching the upper wheel well. So I've taken a middle course. A dark car color makes the touching wheels less visible, almost invisible.

For older muscle cars like the Vigero, Sabre GT or Tampa other colors may be more appropriate. But cars like above or the Oracle or the Cognoscenti will remain black or white. But you can choose any color you wish for your own!

Triple Penetration

I would rather BBS-styled rims on this beauty. Plus paint the grille and door handles (any chrome parts) black for more stealth? Or just make them body coloured?

Next one could be Futo or Pinnacle, right? Unless you have something planned already.

P.S. Spoilers are pretty much mandatory for high-powered vehicles, especially high ones. However, Front wheel drives and ones with less than 250hp shouldn't be fitted with a spoiler, ever.

If you think I am wrong

Around 2:30 and 30 seconds onwards, you can see that the rear wheels barely have grip on the ground and without any downforce of spoilers they consume 40 tyres per gallon. They are spinning way too much and not giving enough traction out.

Futo or Pinnacle

I've not planned to modify this cars. Not yet. Im interested in other cars right now. Even the Schafter is not finished yet.

EDIT:

I finished some more changes to the Schafter, it looks much better now:

Added dark window tint, changed color of front turn signals, removed front license plate. I'm going to update tomorrow, no, today? I'm tired, having a cold again.

EDIT2:

Additionally to the above mentioned changes I'm trying to add new textures to the brakes (Brembo textures). Unfortunately I'm having trouble. Have to figure out why. Stay tuned, I will update the Schafter these days. My cold is also getting better.

^^ This Sabre looks nice, but I hope you will fix the wobbly suspension. Thanks for your suggestions, I'm still not sure which one I'm gonna use. The decision, the decision is the biggest problem. happy.gif

EDIT:

Just two quick screenshots from first testing "Tampa GT" with these wheels/rims.

Shafter is kickass. Would like to see the Tampa as well. The Tampa fits very well in IV. Hey Naid, which value do I adjust to adjust the ride height? I'm using your handling package and that coupled with the lower ride height on the Shafter, it sits too low (wheels coming through the wheel well lip at times).

Nice job with these. MOAR inlove.gifcool.gif

which value do I adjust to adjust the ride height?

Thanks Packet. Adjusting the suspension height is pretty simple:

2100.0 5.5 85 0.0 -0.02 -0.09 0.0 7 0.3 1.0 200.0 0.28 0.65 0.7 35.0 1.25 0.95 13.5 0.14 0.47 3.55 2.85 2.85 0.12 -0.16 -0.015 0.5 3.5 1.0 3.5 2.0 0.0 130000 00440010 00404000 0

Standard Raise value for all stock vehicles is 0.0.

The yellow marked parameter is the knob to turn. It's called "Raise" in the handling editor. Increasing the value will lead to more suspension (normal look), decreasing will lead to less suspension (sport look).

You should modify this parameter in small steps cause going from -0.015 (my current Schafter value) to 0.0 will increase the suspension a lot. I modify this value mostly with 0.01/0.005/0.002 steps for more precision.

At the moment I cannot create much scratch made stuff and these rims look like difficult to create, that would require more modelling knowhow than I actually have. Before I can do that we're all playing GTA V I bet.

ok do think you could convert it from Gta:sa because i have the file.

That Tampa is looking good!

Have you thought about using real companies for the wheels on your cars like Asanti or BBS or Dayton?

Not yet because I'm just experimenting with 3D modelling step by step and I'm using only all original game material for editing. I want to maintain a classic IV character, that's my main goal here.

Ok, I've put an original texture to the brakes but only because they had almost no existing texture, the original one was just a bunch of unrecognizable pixels.
