Idea for DLC

HOW'S ANNIE?

Everybody is discussing the possibility of San Fierro and Las Venturas as DLC locations. But personally that would require alot of time and effort on Rockstar's part. My idea is- why can't they have Catalina island as DCL. It's not overly large- and could quite easily jion on to the pre-existing map (however it may be) with ease.

Just a sugestion...

New islands for DLC?

So about 7 months after GTA V is released there will be a full version with all the islands?

What a pointless idea.

It's just gonna be Los Santos

Needs episodes like IV but hopefully the content in the episodes can be used in vanilla V

That would be a great idea, but how they would appear in the map, for example?

After you purchase they just *blup* and are magically created? For me, TLaD and TBoGT was both perfect; their stories matched perfectly with the main story of the game and everything was very well explained, including several new vehicles, bikes, weapons and so much more. If they could make something like that for a future DLC it would be more than perfect for me. wink.gif

But introducing new islands are not a bad idea.

OH MY GOD. I JUST HAD A THEORY.

IN THE GTA IV DLC'S THEY HAD MULTIPLE CHARACTERS

MAYBE IT'LL BE MULTIPLE CHARACTERS IN GTA V AS WELL!

MAYBE NOT ALL IN THE VANILLA GTA V

BUT THE SAME AS EFLC!

Well it would be easier to do with Catalina Island- because it's a fair few miles off the coast of real world Los Angeles- so it could work better than anything else.

Why are we here talking about DLCs before the game comes out? Is that what you asked? Because We need something to talk about while we are all locked in here together for months, like an insane asylum, saying the same thing again and again, waiting compulsively for a shred of new GTAV information from Rockstar. That's why we are talking about it now.

And if this is what insanity is like, it's no fun. tounge.gif

OT: Adding an isolated area like Catalina Island would be a relatively easy DLC - not a bad idea, in comparison with the less likely concpet of adding whole big map sections and cities as DLC. That was the point of the OP, I think.

GTAknowledge

I didn't buy the GTA IV DLC because i got bored of the original game too quickly after the story was over so when DLC was released i had no interest in playing it.

GTA San Andreas is the perfect type of game for DLC to be released. Even now, years after first playing it, i still play it. It never gets boring so for that game i sure would buy DLC.

So, unless GTA V is like GTA SA in that it has a lot of things to do after the story is over, i will likely get bored of it after the story like GTA IV and not buy the DLC.

Yeah that was the point I was trying to make.
