SR4 was horrible with zombies and the way people spawn, which is very similar to GTA. Although, RDR did a much better job with the spawning system. Just a little thing on the side, just like "armed pedestrians" or "riot mode". it would be optional that way, and in no way a part of the story, and it won't take up an entire (uneeded) game mode, and you could use it in multiplayer free roam for some fun times. I'd also prefer the classic shoot in the head to kill zombies and none of that acid snot sh*t or super zombies it what really ruins almost every zombie game for me. Irisframe Posted March 23, 2012 Share Posted March 23, 2012 One but no more in the near future. If Rockstar releases a zombie DLC for GTAV properly done, it could become an awesome piece of art. If it has a nice story, with that engine and graphics, a simple DLC (L&D or TBOGT style) could become even a lot better than ResidentEvil4 and on. When that series changed in III its adventure feel for action, it was torn apart imo. Would love to roam freely in a menacing city with all of scenery and touch of GTA game. Altough modders do really good jobs, an original spin-off by Rockstar would be awesome. On the other hand, since the zombie wave has been overused in games (some like COD don't do it proper justice) and Undead Nightmare (greatest spin-off) was the move Rockstar chose with RDR, I hardly believe we'll see it on V. Anyone who doesn't want it doesn't have to download/buy it. You could even make it like a previous user said A simple cheat, similar to how Pedestrians riot cheats existed in SA. or as a DLC pack with a good story that would happen after the normal GTA story. And in a wide open place like Los Santos... TheJonesy Posted March 23, 2012 Share Posted March 23, 2012 (edited) As far as gaming interest, I think zombies have gained a lot of attention because it allows gamers to experience the excitement of mutilating a "human being" without bringing the stigma of vicariously killing people in extremely brutal - and realistic - ways because this said "human being" is already dead. All the fun without the guilt, if you will. See, you don't want zombies in GTA; you really want the killing of regular characters to be more "zombie-like" i. e. when you put a shotgun to someone's knee cap, you expect the lower half of the leg to be gone.
