JoeM
Grand Theft Auto is a criminal game, where you kill people, steal and just generally break every other law to be had, and for some reason my logic doesn't seem to see where the protagonist being an electrician fits in. Maybe he's a realy bad, illegal electrician, who doesnt give damn about H&S laws? Bad boy for life!
Duxfever
If you really wanna take it far: by thinking about it, it would be pretty f*cking cool. Since the guy would work with electricity and all that, he'd know what he'd be doing with, well, pretty much everything. I don't know much, but perhaps this is what the bold, new direction meant. The fact that this guy could be into construction and electricity, you can use the world around you as dynamically as possible. Like, using the environment and science and stuff to get around. And constructing your own custom weapons and stuff. That's probably too far, though. But it would be really cool. I remember seeing a thread on if GTA V were a parody of Breaking Bad, but I haven't been inside that thread. I also remember a proposed leak mentioning how you could shoot a line of gas or something, and make fire. While that whole list may as a well be fake, it definitely doesn't rule out the possibility in any way. D T
MIKON8ERISBACK
Everybody, I wasn't trolling or joking. I just had another theory that I had to get out into the open. I thought of this because I have a background installing light fixtures and outlet receptacles and working with many things technology.
MIKON8ERISBACK
And anybody who thinks that a Sims style gameplay system involving property construction is too far out, you'd be amazed at how data can be compressed with seventh generation consoles without too much visual compromise. In addition, the PS3 uses a storage medium with an almost infinite data storage capacity; 50GB with a dual layer disc.
Doo
Again. Stop reading into the damn trailer so much. There isn't a secret meaning or anything, for f*cks sake! Thanks, dude. This should be quoted all over this forum in bright colors flashing.

We will not be doing construction work in it. That's just dumb. I can't believe you're seriously suggesting this.
GTA_La_Costra_Nostra
I don't know about working as a electrician or anything like that but what if he worked as the CEO of a company like that? And then corruption amongst other things made him very uncomfortable, so he quite or retired.
EscoLehGo
I can guarantee whoever the protagonist is, he's not a "normal" guy. They've never been normal in terms of their background ever so why change it up now? And did you really just suggest that gta V implement some kind of sims style gameplay? Gtfo boy, you leave now! I'm an expert troll hunter and I'm gathering that you're not a troll at all, just a very strange man. You have angered me, leave these forums and return to your circuit breaker at once! RipGore
"That line of work" can be drug dealing, being a pimp, to being a filthy rich CEO of a Commercial Space Rocket Bulding company.
