Iminicus
My internet provider supplies me with 11 emails address, which is great but I am reliant on their webmail portal, which is crap. As such, I have set up both Outlook 2010 and Thunderbird, to see which desktop app I prefer. Does anyone else use a desktop app? Do you use it for your hotmail, yahoo, aol, gmail accounts of is it for a specific reason ie, work email, university/college email? Have you thought about using a desktop app for all your email needs and having all your inboxes sent to the same location?
nightwalker83
Yeah, I use Outlook 2003 for all my email accounts. I have an isp email account and a gmail one, the gmail one uses imap to connect but sometimes it plays up when trying to send emails via Outlook. Wolf68k
I use Gmail for everything. It checks my Yahoo, Hotmail and ISP mail as well. Because it all goes to the Gmail inbox I can easily check it any where; any web browser on computer plus on my iPhone and iPad. I use to use Thunderbird years ago, this was before Gmail had the large storage space. I some times wish I could put them back.
