Slamman
Sorry I don't have an eloquent posting for this, I do believe it worth noting and sharing with you all, the Doobie Brothers have always been a mainstay in classic rock, and fixture of AOR radio. R.I.P. Truly a band of exceptional musicians, who were always down to Earth and respecting of their fans and each other http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/03/13/m..._n_1342120.html

Vega LVI
Damn. That's a real shame. I've always loved The Doobie Brothers, especially their rhythm with Michael Hossack leading the charge. Rest in peace. †
Slamman
Best Doobies sitcom appearance ever. The Show sitcom What's Happenin'? Not to be confused with What's Happenin' Now? Should give some history here, for those who really weren't born yet! Ah, you've missed a lot. Sad to see these legends of music, our time, gone. buzbegone
All those who love the Doobies owe a great debt of gratitude for the unique percussion feel that Mike gave to their hits. Wow, 40+ years! We should all be so lucky to do something we love, and do it so well, for such a long time. While as fans we can’t feel his loss the same way his family and bandmates do, we’ll be able to remember his lasting legacy whenever we hear all those great tunes. Rest in peace, Mike. That episode taught a good lesson on why you shouldn't pirate/bootleg. Stupid Rerun and his crazy over zealous dancing. Slamman
I'll admit I never saw that one, but I was familiar with the show, It's a seminal slice of the 70s, TV Land classic I suppose
