HELP! GTA IV HANG UP (FREEZE) DURING 2nd MISSION

Please Help me..!

 

I have install GTA IV on Windows 7.

 

It is work perfectly.

 

But As soon as i start 2nd mission "IT'S YOUR CALL" It hang up..

 

Means After starting. 2nd mission, on the way to shop, when Niko take Roman to the shop, the video hang up. ( Just like we Pause some movie Video)

 

The Audio goes on continuously fine but video hang up..

 

And i cant do anything. I cant play the Game ahead..

 

I have to Quit the Game. And have to start the Game again..

 

But the same problem again, As soon as on the way to the shop in 2nd mission, the Game (video) hang up. Audio goes on continuously.

 

Then I cant play the game.. I have to Quit it again. It occurs every time whenever i want to play game (2nd mission)

 

Please help me. And slove my problem.

 

I used following system:

 

CPU: 2nd Gen. Core i3 2.3GHz (for laptop)

MBO: Intel Chipset

GPU: ATI READON 6470M HD 1GB

RAM: 4 GB DDR3

HDD: 320 GB

SCREEN: 14 INCH DELL

OS: Windows 7 64bit (HOME BASIC)

YA, OFCOURSE.... LET ME EXPLAIN.

 

I START TO PLAY THE GAME. TAKE ROMAN TO THE MENSION. THEN GO TO SEE THE ROMAN FOR 2ND MISSION "IT'S YOUR CALL"

 

NIKO HAVE TO TAKE ROMAN TO THE SHOP WHERE LOAN SHARK COMES.

IN THIS MISSION WHEN I ON THE WAY TO SHOP IT HANG UP SUDDENLY. THEN I HAVE TO QUIT THE GAME, AND AGAIN START FROM 1ST MISSION.

 

THEN AGAIN WHEN ON THE WAY TO SHOP (WHER LOAN SHARK COMES) IT HANG UP.

 

I CANT PLAY. I HAVE TO QUIT THE GAME.

 

VIDEO HANGS. AUDIO GOES ON CONTINUOUSLY.

you need to install patch the latest patch cuz the game is a poor pc port. if you want to mod your gta i recommend you to install patch 1.0.4.0 or if you just want to play the game, install patch 1.0.7.0. 1 more thing is that your processor is too weak to run gta 4 so don't run it with the highest graphics.

This is happening to me also. But I have a very high end pc so it shouldn't have any problems. Once the movie sequence has finished and i get into the car it freezes with audio continuing but the game frozen. I have to quit
