This could mean yet an entire year before we see GTAV. Grand Theft Auto V is likely to be on store shelves in 12 months, according to Sterne Agee analyst Arvind Bhatia. In a statement provided to Gamasutra, Bhatia said the open-world action game is likely to arrive in March 2013. Previously, the firm had expected the title to ship during the 2012 holiday season. Link to full article also... Rockstar has also said that GTAV boasts the largest scope of any installment in the franchise to date. Of course, yet still interesting... Thoughts? GTA 1 : October 1997 GTA 2: Late Sept PC / October 22, 1999 GTA 3: October 22, 2001 GTA VC: October 27, 2002 GTA ADVANCE: October 25, 2004 GTA SA: October 26-29, 2004 GTA LCS: October 24-28, 2005 GTA VCS: October 31, 2006 GTA IV: 29-30 April 2008 [bECAUSE OF DELAY, ORIGINAL DATE WAS SET FOR LATE OCTOBER, nature was something to do with them figuring out how to work with blu-ray] Your blind if you dont see a pattern and highly possible release date, IF there are no delayes again. The kids that enjoyed IV 5 years ago will be young adults now wanting more. Seriously. You go to the shop. You see a new COD game. You've seen new COD games every year for the last 5 years. You look and see GTA. Oh...haven't seen a new one of them in about 5 years. Think I may get that. Sure I've played all the other CODS and they're pretty much the same. lslarko Posted March 14, 2012 Share Posted March 14, 2012 Its all still hear say, we wont know till MP3 drops, I would still wager on October being a pretty safe bet at the end of the day the game barely needs any marketing in this day and age, Rockstar could announce it will drop next week and it would still be chart topping with record sales. Word of mouth is still the biggest marketing possible combine that with the internet its unstoppable. When they announced the trailer it was the biggest news in gaming world wide in under 24 hours. Rockstar Games has changed, they are getting lazy and greedy. you mean lazy because their working harder on the game making it a better experience for us? and you mean greedy because their delaying releasing the game and making money now, in order to make sure it is of the best quality? ...would you be happy with an annual release which is pretty much the same game, just with a couple different guns and a poor excuse for a story mode because the developers really are lazy and greedy?
