Dick Valor
I still don't get why everyone is assuming that we're not going to get the entire San Andreas, including Las Venturas. Why bother going back to Los Santos, and ignoring the rest of San Andreas? I believe that the first trailer showed Los Santos, and each new trailer will show another part of San Andreas. The fact that the first trailer was so obvious in it's exhibition of Los Santos, as with the shot of the letters spelling "Los Santos" in grafitti under the overpass, is a sign that the following trailers will show OTHER sections of San Andreas. It would'nt shock me to see a trailer showing a revamped Las Venturas, casinos, boardwalk and all, when Rockstar finally releases more info. That could be followed by San Fierro, and so on. It's completely possible considering that Rockstar has already said this will be their biggest, and most abitious project to date. Yeah, because SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA includes San Francisco and Las Vegas. It did in GTA San Andreas. No it didn't. Southern California didn't include SF and LV in SA. Never did R* ever say the original SA was a recreation of Southern California... with LV and SF thrown in as a surprise. On the contrary, all press statements about SA specified the game featured an entire state--one that ended up being based primarily on California, along with parts of Nevada and Arizona. V, on the other hand, is specifically based on Southern California, which does not include LV or SF. This is why everyone assumes they won't be featured. R* never made the claim that the original SA features LS and surrounding countryside and that it is a re-imagined SoCal. R* only made this claim about V, meaning the scope of V's map will be smaller and more focused than SA's, even though the map will most likely be bigger. DatassGTA
LA has casinos, so I am sure LS will too.
Rockhard4GTA
Would be pretty sweet, but I doubt they would do that. hey you never know
GANGSTA26-VERCETTI
Or how about just wait until a future game/episode? Im sure we will see SF and LV again in there own games most likely. This is the only reasonable answer.

Nobody really knows for certain what will be in the game. Everything is mostly speculation at this point, and so far all there is to go on is one trailer, and a statement that this will be there biggest and most ambitious game yet. People will dissect and interpret the trailer and statements in their own way, but Rockstar has always been vague with their information. The early reports about GTAIV mostly hinted that Liberty City was going to be based on NYC, but as more info came out later, we then found out that a part of New Jersey would be included as well. My main point was that so far, all we have is ONE trailer that focuses on the location of Los Santos. That does'nt mean there won't be other locations to be revealed later on. Maybe they won't include Las Venturas, but if this really IS to be their biggest and most ambitious project to date, then i'd be shocked if it's only Los Santos. It's not really unreasonable to expect more as information starts to get released.

interpolfan11
Ehhhh, I'm pretty confident that you guys will have to settle for Indian reservation casinos.
puttbutt
I was thinking about this. A lot of Las Vegas in real life is interconnected via walkways and stuff, to keep visitors out of the heat and in the casinos instead, so even if it was still all indoors we would have a lot of area to work with, maybe another large-scale casino heist mission. But then at the same time you'd have a lot of people complaining that we never get to go outdoors/explore more of the new Las Venturas, and it would be kind of a tease, so I doubt it will happen. MIKON8ERISBACK
How many times do I or we have to say this. San Fierro and Las Venturas will only appear in DLC expansion packs which won't be released for about a year and a half after the initial game, if at all. Really, it's not that far fetched. TinTinn
GTA V ends on a cliff hanger, money gets mixed up, ends up in San Fierro as SF Stories, it gets passed onto another character which takes place in Las Venturas, LV Stories; that's my bet. Finn 7 five 11
I don't know why people are dismissing this as not being a possibility. They did it with San Andreas when CJ visited the Bistro in Liberty city during one of the end missions. Admittedly people learnt how to escape the Bistro and walk around the ghost town of Liberty, and it sucked. I don’t know if Rockstar will want this to happen again. Visiting areas of other cities is always a possibility, more of a possibility than most as its happened previously. It is a silly idea, there are casinos in los angeles, Vegas is not the only place with a casinos, so effectively this is pointless.
postaldude98
Las Venturas is my favourite location,so that would be great.
CDT_boss
Man I'm sick of all this speculating and theories! Rockstar could do whatever in the world they want, fact is we don't know sh!t about GTA V right know and it might be something similar to the old GTA's or something completely new! So I beg to people please stay cool on the "make new topic button" for now, y'all wasting too much time saying it could be this or could be that... Dingdongs
I think it's safe to assume that these other cities will be in the DLC.
GTABandit666
there's always three cities really? GTA 4 how many cities where there? 3 islands like always same will go for gta v. Yup - 3rd Island in Vice City was the BEST! Morons... BTW - San Andreas also only had 2 "Islands" Actually,San Andreas had 3 islands;Los Santos and country side,San Feirro and badlands, then Los Ventures and desert. Buffalo Soldier
So basically - it's not really LV, it's just a casino. That's stupid. Either have the full city or forget about it and put a Casino in Los Santos.
hendrixforever
I would hope as most people have been saying that both cities are eventually included as a DLC as their own game or something.
