The last such rumor was that Rockstar peeps were seen in Michigan perhaps, that Carcer City could still be in an upcoming GTA or DLC. Finger's crossed. @Wildstyle, NO THEY DIDN'T. It's not that they worried about SR, in some respects the same people buy both games, I know I did. Regardless, it was way for R to steal some thunder as the game was releasing! The supposed MAIN leak, the real mystery of GTA over the years is Deep Throat, however, he only claimed to have worked for Rockstar and at the time, I believe, no longer. I do only remember back to when I first read the postings about him, looking at his post archive, I still can't find what I remember, at least, that I can really recall, he was claiming to post on a Wifi Hotspot at some cafe, trying to be incognito. Some people stole the game early and uploaded pics of CJ burning the weed farm with the truth... But other than that, hardly anything gets leaked out of R*. ZZCool, I basically typed up my earliest memory of him, you have to click on user's names and see their posting history, you get an idea that he was making things seem very dramatic, and that added to the mystery about him. He was a 'drama queen', you could say. It may have worked in the past but but I think the build up to V has not been done right. If you ask me they shouldn't have released that trailer back in Nov. I would rather they release a trailer at least six months before the actual release date. That would give them more than enough time to do their marketing plus getting the anticipation from the public. Slamman Posted March 17, 2012 Share Posted March 17, 2012 I think they had to release a trailer, it's a SIGNIFICANT SOMETHING, versus nothing, for another 6 months, when you think of all the time working behind closed doors, I betcha they just lose sight of how it is NOT knowing the game, they're living with the game, full on, for over a year, before we get a chance to play it, it's already very well known to those building it.
