Its selfish that they want us to be surprised about the plot and features? That makes no sence. And how sites it make them greedy . If they were greedy they would instead tell us everything, put up vids and basically overmarket the game, trying to get all the buys it can. Inatead they value the art they make, instead of just trying to cash in buy advertising to kids, and stuff. That would be greedy. I remember that I was hyped like crazy. Also there were some russian(i believe) guys playing it on livestreams, that sh*t was AMAZING! But the biggest was a copy of San Andreas leaking out for the PS2 back in 2004, which was made available online for download. By then the game is finished and has left Rockstar out to be duplicated and warehoused and shipped to retailers. This process cannot take less than 3-4 weeks for a major global release and that is a long time to trust outside partners who hire people who don't make a lot of money with something that people would pay to see leaked. The other examples in the thread are also examples of outside people being allowed access who betray trust, or of accidents when people turn out to be surprisingly clever looking through website code. I don't know of any example of a Rockstar employee deliberately stealing info from work and sharing it with the world for personal motives. They're all loyal and/or deterred from mischief.
