Cole Phelps Gta
Anybody who doesn't want san andreas references isn't a true fan imo.
MIKON8ERISBACK
Any neighborhoods that existed in the 1992 Los Santos that appear in GTA V will by no doubt be profoundly re-worked. More than likely, the street layouts will have been changed and many old buildings demolished to make way for new ones. I expect to see real references that acknowledge the existence of the old Grove Street Families, however, they're not gonna be a huge part of the storyline. The purpose of this game is to put in place a "bold, new direction", with emphasis on the word "new". As I said before, we'll probably see a rendition of Grove Street in the game, but it just won't be the same as it was before. It'll probably appear as a cul-de-sac lined with "affordable" single family homes that were built after 1992 as part of an urban renewal project. Sweet's house and The Johnson House will have either been demolished and re-built, or renovated in a way that profoundly changes their appearance. MIKON8ERISBACK
Again, there's also the separate universes that we have to work out too. San Andreas was set in what I like to call Universe #2. GTA V will be set in what I like to call Universe #3. In Universe #3, cities with the same names will actually be different from cities in Universe #2. It's the same name, but in practice, a different city overall with different street layouts, different residents, different characters, different pedestrians, different world overall. There's no evidence yet that R* has done away with this cardinal rule.
