JStarr31
That balcony dude may truly be, at most, our protagonist or atleast a strong story character. I know, I know, NOT THIS TOPIC AGAIN.... But im starting to see the evidence is speaking louder and louder. Look i could be wrong but i feel these guys represent these descriptions from the FIRST casting call not the SECOND. FOR THE RECORD, I AM NOT SAYING ALL THE CHARACTERS ARE THE PROTAG. I AM NOT SUPPORTING NOR BASHING THE MULTIPLE PROTAG THEORY. IM POINTING OUT IS THE PEOPLE SEEN IN THE TRAILER SEEM TO MATCH THE CASTING CALL DESCRIPTIONS.[/size=7] Edited* As we all know: Albert deSilva. Age:??? Info: Albert has a son, Kevin De Silva, a FPS playing gamer who smokes a lot of weed, has anxiety issues and a card for a bad back, very soft, very opinionated. Into making racist comments while playing online. Through further analysis, Hes seems to be an ex-FIB Agent trying to "start over". Miguel Gonzalez: 25 Young Mexican American FBI agent, caught between a few mob bosses. Very clean cut. Mitch Hayes: 38 - Anynoying, wise cracking, highly successful FBI agent. In great shape. Does triathlons, drinks low cal beer, but still has a sense of humor. If i were to judge a book by its cover...they kinda fit there descriptions. Especially Mitch. He looks in shape, drinks low Cal beers while his fellas drink normal "manly" beer. But Mitch doesn't care if you poke fun at him, look at him, he's Mitch for crying out loud. He'll just crack a joke back, put on his shades, walk away like nothing happened, and go jet skiing. Ohhhh yeah. Beside he's successful. Good ole Mitch. As for Miguel, He seems clean cut, an all-for-the-ladies kinds guy, especially in the convertible scene during the trailer. Also being caught between mob bosses would explain the little police car chase scene with the red convertible as well. As for another thing that makes it even more certain that balcony dude will the protag....is the age range of all the characters on the casting call leak. Mostly 35+ year old with the occasional young pup, but for the must part, old people. (not saying its a bad thing as this could make for a more interesting and mature game as far as story and cinematics). R* even went a far as to cast for a 56yr old role. Might as well stop complaining. Feel free to comment or lock (which ever more appropriate). I want feedback. As fur my opinion, I guess we should just suck it up and enjoy the ride! ccrogers15
You must be joking or retarded. The "leaked" character list was proven fake... few months ago. That old man MAY be the main character, but its not proven. Im hoping the man is not the main character, i dont want to play as an old man the age of my parents. I will wait for the episodes or dlc whatever if thats the case.

But if that was in reference to if this was a post made by an immature member than, no, i used to play food fight on Atari and revenge when Legend of Zelda was released. Now OT: if the casting call was deemed fraud than i certainly want aware. The way the forum go about the DeSilva Theory so justly i assumed it to be the real deal (the casing call even predicted the while California setting so i myself thought, hell, maybe its true). The fact that he is driving in in-game footage should say that he is most likely not an FBI agent, also, he's wearing a wifebeater and operating a van in a robbery, not wearing a suit and badge driving a Buffalo. Get better at your theories before you call me a twat smart ass. This is more likely anyways.

[supreme] And i can see where your coming from with your provided image...but your still showing me a supposed FBI agent participating in a robbery. Only difference is one is player operated, other, NPC. That was the basis of your statement, correct? That a young man in a wife beater, that commits crimes couldn't possibly be a FBI , yet you show me a picture o of the same thing (just my Miguel wasnt the protag ). You seem to be basing your bias on your own gripes with the protag being old. Yet damn near the entire casting call group was 35+ yrs old. 34 is not considered old. but being that ugly and fat he has to be around 40-50 and frankly if I had to play as him I think I would consider Saints Row, so no. You seem to deem your opinion higher than others before providing evidence as to why you oppose. Yet, when provided it seems to be based of your own self bias about balcony guy. That's why you were called a twat. Its GTA. A MEXICAN FBI AGENT IN A POLICE CAR CHASE IS THE PERFECT IRONY FOR THIS GAME. Besides we could both be wrong, guy. I am not claiming multiple protag.. For all you know that robbery cut scene was like the opening mission for GTA III, where the player is shown riding in the back, not driving, until the cut scene showing a break out was over. Then after was when the player jumped in the driver seat. It child be that. NPC drives to mission while your on the back expanding on the story. When the robbery is botched, you become the get away drive. Hell, who knows.... My point wasn't to argue over protag, to show the casting calls are indeed some what fact. Look if the hispanic guy is the protag, cool beans, of it old dude, cool beans more, sh*t, solid snake in patroits was like 60. Im just saying i guess the Cardiff calls are more real than we So maybe Albert is old guy and so on. Just don't belittle my intelligence please... cherrycola
Is the logic here that the guy in the background is the protagonist because he's driving the car? Because there are several missions in previous GTAs where you don't drive the car or someone else takes over the wheel when you reach your location, but I can't think of any where the AI robs the bank for you while you just sit around and wait for them in the getaway car. Well, there's a mission in GTA 1 where you do that, but it's not possible to enter buildings in that game, so robbing the bank wouldn't be an option either way. AuSsIeThUnDeR36
Omg this argument again..ok it's the Hispanic guy in the red convertible at 0:22 and he is seen being chased by police later in the trailer. So it's def the protag as only the protag gets chased by police in these games. See it makes sense. The old guy on the balcony MIGHT be someone you work for in the game or he could be antagonist. I explain it all in my 2 part trailer analysis on youtube 'trulymeparker' is my channel.

Obese_Tony
Actually, to this day I still haven't seen any substantial proof that the list the topic starter is quoting is fake. No. This is logic: The plan is pefect, you drive, get there, everything goes COMPLETELY, HORRIBLY WRONG. Cause it's GTA ffs. SO: Either you go in and help them rob the bank, get out and lose the cops. OR: You drive away cause some/all of them are dead. PS: You've forgetting the mission in GTA 3 where you wait for the robbers to exit the bank. So yeah.

AtomicPunk
I've never seen so many ppl get mad because the protag may be, I SAY 'MAY BE,' an older white man. Talk about racists. I have faith that whoever R* makes the lead that they will grow on me. If that dumb retread CJ can grow on me then anybody can! I guess I should say that I 'tolerated' him but anyways no one here has even played the game yet and people are mad, worried, and the game already sux---blah, blah, blah. Why not wait until you actually play it before you form an opinion about it? I don't get people anymore
