Thanks for replying, but when I go to(Game>New) It starts the old game(gta iv) without any other choices,do you have any idea to make this game detect the DLCs? confused.gif

First off, What platform are you talking about- X-Box 360, PS3, OR PC-you didn't mention that? IF PC, Where did you download from?

Also, Please post the REQUIRED information from the Pinned Troubleshooting topic, as posted by Justin(A Moderator):

What is your Processor?

What is the Processor Speed?

What is the Ram?

What is the Video card?

What is the vram?

How much dedicated vram?

What is the Sound card?

What is the OS?

Do you have the latest SP for the OS-ie. SP3 for XP, SP2 for Vista, and SP1 for 7?

Any mods or trainers?

Any Daemon tools or the like installed on PC?-these can cause problems with games.

Is this the Retail(DVD) version OR a Downloaded version?

If Downloaded, from where?

If Retail, Is this the Original DVD OR a Copy of the DVD OR a No-DVD crack?

This will help people fix the problem...Please read and utilize the Pinned topics in the future..Thanks

To find the above, Go to Start, Run(if XP)/Search(if Vista or 7) and type in DXDIAG and press Enter. The first page is the Processor, Ram, OS info., then click the Display tab=Video card info, then Sound=Sound card info. etc.

Is the game patched? The first screen you see after the Rockstar logo and disclaimers is a choice between GTA IV and the DLCs (with pictures of Niko on the left and Johnny & Louis on the right). You should see this screen even if you haven't already downloaded the DLC.

I have gta iv patched to 1.0.4.0,and I have a PC that can handle this game and I have downloaded the DLCs from GFWL Marketplace,my iv is the original retail DVD version ,I have EFLC but I wanted to play the DLCs with the old patches (the game runs smoother 56 fps/all settings maxed out) I think the game can't detect the downloadable content, does any 1 knows a trick (or files to edit) to make this game detect the DLCs,plzzzzzzz help! sad.gifconfused.gif

You are able to play DLCs since the 1.0.7.0 patch, you must patch IV, there is no other way to run DLCs than

EFLC has no DLC, its DLC in it self just on DVD not downloable

I know,The DLCs are called add-on content, and there is in EFLC directory two folders called TBoGT and TLAD and these are the DLCs (add-on contents),so EFLC has a DLC bored.gif, and there is no difference between the downloadable DLC and the dvd one,my EFLC can't detect the add-on content, have you any ideas?

According to the Pinned topic, you MUST have an active Internet the connection the first time you run the game for the DLC's...

For the DLC's, you MUST have a physical copy of the Original IV. For EFLC, you DO NOT need a copy of IV to play. EFLC is the DVD copy, and the DLC's(TLAD and TBOGT individually) are Downloads ONLY.

However, Since the OP has NOT answered the questions above from the Pinned Troubleshooting topic that was posted by a moderator, it is safe to say that this is either an Illegal game AND/OR a System Specs problem? confused.gif If this is a Legit copy of the game AND the System is up to par, Please post the REQUIRED information, so we can better help you...

Also, When posting Pictures, it is against the rules to post large pictures, as it causes extra bandwidth usage and causes the forums to slow down a lot for the Dial-up users, although, if you are still on dial up now a days, there is something majorly wrong, as that is way outdated and Cable and DSL is a lot faster and about the same price as dial up-lol tounge2.giflol.gif
