I have killed Derrick in mission Blood Brothers,

and I have read that his number in Niko's phonebook disappears later in the game,

is that true, My friend killed Francis, he beated the game and he was still in his phonebook...

Derricks number does indeed get removed. Francis' number always remains in your phone regardless of choice (if you kill him he never answers), it's never explained, just some oversight I suppose.

 

If you kill Derrick, Francis will call at some point offering to removed wanted level.

Good, thanks, I hate both Francis and Derrick equally but since killing Derrick get's a reward...

Seems like Killing Derrick fits the story more, and Niko doesn't have a moral code, Niko's moral code is up to player.

Well, getting rid of wanted seems good, whenever I am wanted on night I call Francis and whenever I am wanted on day I call Kiki.

EDIT: I have read that you get 2 Extra missions from Derrick if you kill Francis, is that true o.O?

Yup, just what I taught, thanks.

I think the Derrick's phone number gets removed because he goes out of country again if you kill Francis,

so from that point Derrick will be nothing in your Phonebook.

If you kill him, his number gets obviously removed because he is dead and yeah it will be removed because he is nothing in your phonebook either ways.

 

About Francis,

First theory is that Rockstar taught that most of players wold kill Derrick,

So didn't bother scripting to remove him from Phonebook,

 

Second theory which is most likely,

that Rockstar filed scripting to remove Francis from Phonebook after you kill him,

they actually managed to remove it, however removal was working even after you kill Derrick,

and didn't want to ruin it fro players who kill Derrick so they left it so Players can use Francis's ability,

instead of being unused, maybe it fills it for the players who killed Francis,

but that really doesn't mind them I guess.

If you don't get what I mean, I mean they managed to remove it after you kill Francis,

but removal was there for players who killed Derrick and didn't want to ruin the Ability to Clear Wanted Level.
