Sanjeem
I reckon we will see San Fierro, but I think because LV is not in California then it will not make an appearance. We will probably see San Diego as well. Hopefully...

Gtaghost22
I really hope they are in but I'm actually 75% sure that SF & LV wont be featured in GTA V, I will lose all the hope i have if they werent featured in the 2nd trailer

acmilano
SF and LV would get their own games, probably,an it is a good thing when you think about it.With VC,that guarantee three GTA games on next generation of consoles.

I still think there is a chance that San Fierro (San Francisco) may still appear in the game, along with San Diego and some other Southern Californian cities. I would safely say that Las Venturas is now ruled out.
BRITLAND
i think it will be 4 times the size of San Andreas map and 1/4 of it will be Los Santos(size of 1 SA map) then surounded by mountians & countryside the size of half the SA map then there would be a dessert size of LV but it would only be the size of the Las Vegas strip there wouldnt be any apartments and then there would be San Fierro which would be half the size of the SA map which would have the SF city feel with skyscrapers and very busy then there would be more countryside and a small version of San Diego which would be 1/4 size of the SA map then finally for a small part of the map we coud have Vice City at the bottom as the map was leaked to be in the shape of a beaver it would make since to have it there Thoughts on our Future? Ted Bundys Bedsheets
60% LA will be in the game Just my thoughts.. 60% LA will be in the game? Wow! Well I think there will be a 0% chance L.A. will be in the game. I know Los Santos (LS) will be there but I'd bet 100% LS is going to be there. Think I heard a rumour LS would be in it or maybe even seen it in a trailer or something.

Screewdriver
When the first SA trailer was released they only announced LA, it wasn't until the second trailer that they relieved LV & SF. Trideez is exactly right. They announced all three city`s with countryside BEFORE the first SA trailer...get your fact right please. Why do you people think that Rockstar are putting "secret messages" in everything? Southern California means Southern California.

Turbojohn
I am 90% sure that there won't be SF and LV Why? Obviously. The map would be too big to be made in 5 years. ALSO. If so Rockstar would have said it right after. And not throw away their fans and then say: We were kidding. SF AND LV are there

If not, then let me put your smart little mouth straight. If you remember, Rockstar stated in their official announcement on revealing GTA V, that the game will be set in their own re-imagined version of present-day Southern California. This effectively means Rockstar can interpret Southern California in any they wish within the game, geographical accuracy will for most part be accurate, but it does not have to be spot on. So therefore if Rockstar wants to include San Fierro in V, they pretty much have a valid reason to it, and one that also makes sense. The_Majestic
Chances are that a DLC may feature SF and LV or Both. DLC will never include Cities...not on PS3/XBox 360 at least DLC for V will be same as IV...more story lines
The_Majestic
Back on topic however 0% chance SF makes it into the game 50% LV makes it into the game since it is closer to LA then SF and could be construed as "surrounding hills" but probably not. 100% LA makes it in clearly

Maybe we should also contact the Great Western Divide. Derp! Those mountains are nothing like the San Gabriel Mountains or any other range in Southern California. I personally don't think SF would be included, but this shows that Rockstar is going beyond the boundaries even they stated. [Rockstar cannot be trusted. Tashan
Not to mention Rockstar have already confirmed they plan to do smaller DLC's after EFLC didn't do that well. They realised that for DLC to work, it has to come out within the first few months of the game being out, especially for a primarily single-player game. Well In that Case, there is no SF or LV. But SF in a new avatar for a small DLC. (wish) Only 2nd Trailer can answer this, can't wait for the news of the next release!
azali10
So am I the only one who doesn't want them to return? They would ruin the sense of scale, and the size and quality of the cities would probably drop.

You're acting like a cheeky little monkey there, aren't you? I'm already quite straight thank you very much. I don't need your help. Yes. It was tongue in cheek. But Rockstar have told us quite enough to clearly convey the geographical scope of GTA:V. My opinion is that won't extend to "reimagining" places into Southern California that aren't in Southern California. That's all I'm saying. But go head. Believe what you want. rare.steak
I don't believe they'll be in the game, but to be fair those those still hopeful that they will be, it hasn't been confirmed otherwise. Still, you know it's highly unlikely. There's no point discussing that context, so yeah have fun sharing when you'll lose hope lol.
