numpad issues

Hey all, I've been having an issue with my numpad on GTA 4, as it doesn't seem to function when using mods that require it. My computer is an Asus G74sx laptop, and it has a built in numpad with it. For some reason, they didn't include a numlock on it, but I downloaded a 'numlocker' that allows me to enable or disable numlock and scroll lock through software. But still, when using mods that require the use of the numpad like SNT or police pursuit mod, it doesn't work. I don't know how to fix the issue, I don't know if anyone else has experienced this problem or if anyone has a solution to it, but if anyone does I would greatly appreciate it. I apologize if this is in the wrong thread on the forum, but I really need help with this.
