My view on the speculations of the community.

I just wanted to tell you guys my opinion on different things the community has been speculating after the trailer.

 

Main Character: Ned Luke will be the main character. He doesn't look much older than 40. Keep in mind that Tommy Vercetti was 35 years old, so 5 years won't be that much of a difference. He appears more than once in the trailer, and you can hear him talk about him wanting to get away from his criminal life. He wouldn't talk in the trailer unless he was the main character or an INCREDIBLY important character.

 

Map: Only Los Santos and surrounding hills and countryside. Just because they didn't say SF and LV will be in the game doesn't mean they will be. That's like announcing the GTA IV map and saying it will include Broker, Bohan and Algonquin but not saying anything about Alderney or announcing the RDR map and saying it will include Blackwater and Armadillo but forgetting the other regions. It doesn't happen.

 

Returning Gangs: None of the gangs will be returning. The Leones, Diablos, Columbians, Yakuza, Yardies, Forellis, Purple Nines and the Red Jacks (I think that was their name) didn't return in IV. There will most likely be different gang names, but still based off the Bloods/Crips/Mexican Cartels.

 

Returning Characters: R* already said most of the characters from the GTA III era are probably dead.

Especially because he's totally full of sh*t on the returning gangs and who the protaganist is.
