You see, I have no problem with people enjoying their games. It's the IV haters that have that problem. I love IV and I loved SA. SA is a great game and, in my opinion, the best of last generation. I may prefer III, The Warriors, Bully, etc. but I do see how SA is the better game. "Sure, the detailed graphics are nice for IV but it doesn't make it more fun for me, and a game is all about fun." Why are you saying this? Did I even bring up graphics in my post? You IV haters are like a broken record, spouting out the same "arguments" over and over. So, a game is all about fun, huh? Of course we all play games for fun. Christ. You SA fanboys seem to think you guys are the only ones who are having fun and thus, have higher tastes than the people who play IV. GTA IV is ceaselessly entertaining. Every time I put it on, I always have something cool and unexpected happen. Whether it be from pushing the game to it's limits through utter chaos or from exploring the environment and finding strange little details. It's just a fun game. First of all, I'm NOT an IV hater. I just think it's hella overrated. I enjoyed playing it because it's a GTA game and they are never anything less than great, I just hated the changes made from the III era. And I NEVER made out my opinion to look like it's a fact. I never made a statement as stupid as "Saying SA is better than IV is ignorant". And if you are too slow to catch up, I clearly stated that what I consider "fun" is just MY OPINION and "fun" FOR ME. But no, you twist it up as if I stated it like a fact. No, I never did that so please, stop doing it. And I mentioned "graphics" because you talked about "fun in SA" proves nothing or something along that line. And since you mentioned details, I mentioned graphics because it's where IV overtakes SA but that doesn't make it more FUN... FOR ME. And Miamivicecity: No offense but you're as bad as the "SA fanboys" you always trash-talk, just with the opinion on the game reversed. You keep bashing almost everything about that game then when somebody who likes that game and does the same to IV, you call them "SA retards". If it was not clear enough, I DON'T HATE IV. I actually like the game, I just don't think it's anywhere close to matching SA for many reasons I've stated numerous times. And SA is not the only game I prefer to IV, the same goes for every other III-era 3D game including Vice City, III, LCS and VCS. Come on FnB. How long have you known me now? All the time you've known me I've NEVER changed. I don't hate SA, but like how you find GTA IV overrated that's how I feel about SA too. I've owned SA since it came out and have put countless hours into it. It's not as if I'm talking out of my ass without actually playing the game. It's still 3rd on my list. Not as good as GTA IV and definitely not as good as VC IMO . If anything I'm probably the least biased in these sort of comparisons since VC is my favourite GTA. If you really like VC this much, then you should also like VCS. For past many days, I can't understand what is so special in VC. You like VC for what? Hear this- VC was sure the successor of GTA 3 but VC was not planned well like some major bugs like Polygon, Sea Sparrow and the mansion, etc were discovered. R* was in hurry that they could never show their face to Media so they went back to work. Afterwards, R* announced GTA SA which was super but again could not show their face to media due to Hot Coffee. Again, they went back to work and announced GTA 4. GTA 4 was the rival of PC and so many people came with complains that they couldn't show their faces to anyone, to their family also. Now, GTA 5, what will happen? If R* wouldn't have produced VC then GTA Series would have been hit! No offence but to be direct, GTA VC sucked. From Maliblu Club to Love Fist; from Escobar Airport to Candy Suxxx. I like VC because I can. Also the fact I was born in 1986. I feel a strong bond with the game. You wont see too many games like VC that were put together in such a short amount of time. Hm, you must make the order like this- VCS<VC<LCS<CTW<GTA SA<GTA 4< GTA 3 Well, the best thing is that GTA 3 is not small like GTA VC. The story was good. We play as a silent killer. And we kill many major characters who played in many games like Sal, Migual, Catalina, etc. The missions were not like GTA 4, I mean, go kill him, etc. Also, it was way too fun than GTA VC where I can only see Ken as the clown of the game. I know we kill Lance and Diaz who were in GTA VCS but we can't tell VCS a decent game. You know, GTA VC was the first game I played but slowly, I saw GTA VC boring for it's gameplay and the story. Here's more, R* is focusing on the entertainment for the players and they shouldn't make games so boring. Only one mission which could be called mission was The Job. Now, to be on topic. GTA SA It could be my third favorite game. Good gameplay and story but the cast was not well enough. I still doubt that all those fellows like Pulaski and Ryder should have been explained more well. But, it's Dan House. Now, let me take a good mission, ah, Black Project. The Truth, he is really funny and strange guy but I like Toreno more because he speaks fast and talks funny things which make me laugh. But, Truth, is really peace minded and puts CJ into trouble. In this manner, R* is trying to give fun to the players. In this way GTA SA is really good. I disliked Los Santos because the missions were more gangsta. I would give 7.5. GTA 4 Realism, the first thing comes whenever we talk about GTA 4. The Story was very good. I liked the part in which Niko was new to Liberty City. It makes the player like he is Niko and not like CJ who knew Los Santos well. Well, it's true that Gameplay should also be better but this game is like a Survival Match. Not many Cast. So, if you still want to know, what I like more.. I would choose SA. I'd play IV, it was fun, and sometimes, there's no fun. For SA, there are more things, you can recruit gang members, RPG thing (Muscle, recpect, etc.), taking over territory and others. Which has more feature. So, I'll choose SA, instead of IV.
