no_chance Posted March 10, 2012 Share Posted March 10, 2012 I did a chart with a longer timeframe to show interest on Google between Max Payne, Red Dead, and GTA from 2004 (earliest data) to now. It shows the only bump in Max Payne interest since Max Payne 2 was the 2008 movie. The old Red Dead Revolver was more interesting than Max Payne is now. Rockstar says Max Payne 3 will be the biggest campaign ever. It clearly NEEDS to be. They look like they have a big problem. If they're successful then Max Payne will shoot up. Went there in 2009 to Athens, the whole city was caked in a thick layer of pollution, there are feral cats all over the place, and there were people clinging onto the bottom of our tour bus hoping to get a ride back to Italy to escape the sh*thole economy and country that is Greece/Turkey etc. Greece is part of the EU - people wanting to migrate to Italy don't need to cling onto the bottom of your bus - either your story is bullsh*t or they were from further east Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Which means that the first trailer is still gaining popularity without losing interest. Pretty amazing. So, Rockstar knows that the first trailer is still enormously popular out there and they want more and more people to search and see it, before releasing a second one. I'm not saying that' we won't see a new trailer anytime soon, but imho this is an obvious marketing strategy from Rockstar. This and most of all Max Payne 3. We all should know that already. When Max Payne 3 comes out, or when the release date approaches, we will, hopefully, watch another trailer talking more about the protagonist, the city, everything. Or at least we will read something in the Newswire. A&A are coming soon on Rockstar's site. Just keep your heads up and your eyes open to that page.
