Tilemaxx Posted March 9, 2012 Share Posted March 9, 2012 Statistics from the first trailer on Youtube. Views, ratings, and favourites are still on steady rise since 11/2, with no sings of decline. Which means that the first trailer is still gaining popularity without losing interest. Pretty amazing. So, Rockstar knows that the first trailer is still enormously popular out there and they want more and more people to search and see it, before releasing a second one. I think R* released the trailer to stop some of the bitching (even though it would come back very soon), and it brings them attention (especially when trying to market Max Payne 3). Some might disagree, but I'm pretty damn sure R* will get Max Payne 3 out of the way before we get the next trailer. We can, however, possibly expect the second trailer to be released within June or July. The release of the second trailer will most likely be released on R*'s site (just like the first trailer). Also it looks like they hit 10 million mid December, meaning they have a steady view flow of a little over 1 million a month. If they count multiple views then I'm responsible for at least 3. When the trailer first released, I watched it about 200 times in November, and maybe 40 times since. (This is only counting the RockstarGames Youtube. I've watched the HD version that I downloaded from R* at least 1000 times) Off-topic fun fact. Everytime this screen pops up, I hear the "Why did I move hear..." R* probably will release a second trailer eventually, and may already have plans to do so, but there's no need for them to do so until this trailer starts to decline in popularity. The only reason for them to rush would be if the release date is in the very near future, but they're not doing that, which shows that we still have a while to wait. How long is a while? The OP is trying to say that the views are still increasing at a good rate considering how long the trailer has now been out for. Most popular videos would be increasing at a much slower one, but this is still clearly gaining a large number of views after being out for so long. Did you expect Max Payne 3 Trailer to have more views or something??? you cant compare the mighty GTA to Max Payne 3, sont get me wrong MP3 looks like a really good game but GTA V will still be better. @OP good point, but i think the reason R* didnt release a 2nd trailer for GTA V is that they are busy marketing Max Payne 3, i think we will have a 2nd trailer in june or july.
