InternetSavage
I had someone at the office loan me a copy of GTA IV for the XBox and after I returned his copy I went and purchased what I'm assuming is a newer version of the game. The problem I'm having is when I complete a mission and the game auto saves the save doesn't persist when I turn the system off. The only saves that persist after a system shutdown are the manual saves at safe houses which isn't a huge problem but I'd like to not have to return to a safe house and save before I shut the system down. Is there any kind of an update that I need to install to fix this issue? Scott
radioman
Are you talking about you had the Original IV and now have the Platinum Hits version OR Complete Edition(the one with IV, TLAD and TBOGT on one disc)? If so, that could be the problem, as I remember back with the PS2 and III, VC, and SA, how the saves from the Original version was not compatible with the Greatest Hits and Trilogy Pack versions-however, the Greatest Hits and Trilogy Pack saves are compatible. This could be the same situation here, but i'm not sure, as I don't know too much about X-Boxes-Just PS2, PS3, and PC's....? Also, What model of the 360 do you have-the Slim model OR Original model, and is it the Arcade model(256mb memory), the 60GB(Pro) , the 120GB(Elite) OR the newer Arcade(4GB), or whatever the newer Pro and Elite models are? Yes, I purchased the Complete Edition of GTA for XBox. My XBox is the newer slim that I purchased this last Christmas, it was the XBox 4GB with Kinect package that sells for $300.
