Ispintechno Posted June 21, 2012 Share Posted June 21, 2012 Nice I didn't know the PS2 releases where coming to PS3, this is great news to me as I gave away my PS2 and sold all the games. Count me in for release DLCs playable on the PS3! In a way it sort of scares me, as much as GTAIV has been getting panned lately, for me it was the best of the series and it's hard going back and really getting into the old ones. I DL'd GTAIII for my smart phone... meh. But I'll buy them and play them. My only worry is like when I DL'd Commodore 64 and NES emulators to my computer to play my childhood games and found they no longer where very fun, past the few minutes of nostalgia. If you want one go start your own company and create one, let R* work on completely new projects to take the franchise FORWARD instead of wasting resources because you 2011 and 2012 members , who are mostly under the age rating, can't handle and accept nostalgia as it is. Rockstar will re-release popular old games updated to work on current hardware but they won't go in and replace everything with more detail. If it ain't broke don't fix it, they were classics how they were, nothing you could ever do can make it any better (even if you chucked a bucket load of extra features in and prettied it up). It's kind of like somebody trying to tell me my childhood sucked, so here, travel back in time and take an iPad, Macbook Pro, PS3 with you. Are they? is it official? i heard of that but i thought only PS2/PlayStation Exclusives were 'remastered in HD' exclusive for ps3, please correct me if i am wrong but GTA 3,VC &SA were all multiplats, not exclusive so i doubt that they will be exclusive to ps3. Like free-aim, and higher definition textures. Also, being able to jump out of a moving car in 3 (& VC???) would be nice, and not falling off of bikes/motorcycles while moving backwards at 3 miles per decade would be nice too.
