packardcaribien
You are forcing your opinion on me. Why do you guys need a option??? Just use your imagination like you did with IV. Don't waste disc space for a useless thing that not even half the players are going to use. We asked for a feature. You said 'that's stupid'. We said, 'make it an option'. You said 'no that's still stupid and it'll take up space in the options menu'. We asked 'why is it stupid?' You said 'because we don't like it' We asked 'if it's an option, why do you care?' You said 'it's a waste of space' We asked 'It won't take up any real room, and we aren't in short supply'. You said 'well It's still stupid, Ima never understand why you want this stupid option' Who is forcing their opinon on who here? You didn't ask why it's stupid. It will take up some space. Which I know I don't have to worry about it but for xbox I don't know how many disc they can make it. I said it's a useless feature that more than half the players will not use. Again, useless is YOUR opinion. I don't think it's useless. Is non-auto aim useless and stupid because less than half of the people use it? Will bicycles be useless if only 10% of people use them more than once? Just because something is not loved by everyone does not mean it can't be an option. I can tell you atleast 20% of people will use bicycles. Everyone miss them in IV. Manuel Aim if that's what you are talking about there are alot of people who use it. ( Mostly on PC ) Atleast 25 - 30% use it. Fuel and Food only 5 - 10 % would use them. Why ruin a good series with things that belong in the SIMS. key word: SIMS. Look, I'm giving up here. I can accept that you don't want these features. What you need to accept is that some people do want them. Options won't kill you. Be a little more open minded, don't go nuts with never changing anything. If GTA never changed or adapted, we'd still be playing top down.

The next game you guys will say force everyone to do it. It's not a bad thing but look at the Car Wash in IV. It's really a pointless feature. That's why I'm saying that it's a bad idea cause the most amount of people that will use food and gas are 10-15%.
Kifflom112
The car wash was useful though, imo. I hate driving a dirty car, if they get rid of it, cars better not get dirty then.
redx165
Why are people hating on the car wash? I hate driving a dirty car, if they get rid of it, cars better not get dirty then. For me I didn't see a reason to have the car wash. If it returns I hope it's a little better.

To be honest, I never liked that either, the new cars get dirty thing was never something I liked, it ruins the shine and everything if you're gonna have it, at least make your car stay clean for longer. It's incredibly stupid for the whole day to be sunshine and you get your car washed in the morning and drive it around on only roads and it looks like you've been through rain and dirt and junk. Racecarlock
Forced health recovery: Why it sucks! Guys, I'm so sick of GTA being a challenging game. I hate how every time I get shot up by the police, my health depletes. It's so annoying how I have to go pick up a health pack and some extra body armor; it really just kills the flow of the game! Maybe GTA should get rid of combat and the wanted system altogther... I mean, why should R* "force" the player to deal with enemies and cops!?! You guys that prefer challenging games can just pretend you're losing health! You guys can pretend cops and enemies are after you! Stop forcing your opinion and play style on the rest of us! Forced health recovery and strategy has killed GTA! It's not about challenge! It's about being forced to go to a gas station if you want to keep a car you like and being forced to get a burger to stave off death! Making a game more difficult doesn't always make it better! You want proof? Go play I wanna be the guy, then get back to me.

While I would hate these features and most definitely turn them off, I'm well aware that there are people who want to role play, and to be honest making this stuff but having it optional would make everyone a winner. Role players would get their oh so exciting gas station visits, while I would be driving forever, not eating for weeks, and breaking every traffic law I know. In the end, I feel making it optional is the best solution. After all, forcing these people not to role play is as bad as having all these features mandatory, forcing me to role play. GR7
I've always thought it could work if they attached advantages for taking the time to do such tasks as opposed to punishing us for not. Some examples are giving our cars a temporary speed boost for stopping at a gas station. Another is adding certain bonuses to certain food types like slightly increased strength+health for a burger or increased stamina+small health for Sprunk cans
ForumName
All I know is if they do add in this crap then they better have a cheat to disable them.
hugh750
I do hope they do implement a chore function (like buy gas, food or take care of pets) in gta
