Like the platform some info about the protagonist? Was it hard to them to share us something even a little bit of info? I'm not asking for too much, just a little bit of info only. r0eladn Posted March 8, 2012 Share Posted March 8, 2012 The longer it takes for more info the more i get the idea R* only just started developing V for maybe a year right now. If they would be developing it more relaxed and less rushed, they would have had time to post some screenshots or a flash map or a second trailer. The other theory on why they havnt released more info than the trailer back in november is that they do not want to interfere with the marketing and popularity of MP3. It's their game, their marketing strategy - and it works very well. Keeping fans in the dark is why R* Games has such a great reputation. What do you want from them? Do you want them to list every gameplay feature, tell you all about the characters and vehicles, and get you hyped up to think it's something greater than anything ever seen before? Then by the time is released you know most of the things about it and feel let down? Go see THQ for that sh*t. You won't get anything from R* except some trailers and a few drips of info up untill the release phase. It's driving you crazy and they want that to happen. You demanding info is proving why their strategy works. Becuase if they released a trailer tomorrow without warning you would jizz so hard your bedroom would need recarpeted. A logo was all they needed for their website to crash with the amount of traffic. You can't just expect them to give you loads of information because the fans are tired of waiting, that's what sets them apart from other developers. Chill out and wait dude. It's coming. You can climb poles and fire escapes. How?? I have the PS3 version. Alot of pre press lies in this one for GTAIV If a pedestrian bumps into Niko, he pushes them aside, Assassin Creed-like.- Yea right You can feel the bass of passing cars, and hear the radio that they’re listening to when it goes past. Biggest lies from R* As Niko ascends a telegraph pole, the animations are smooth. Also, at the top, the vertical density of the city can be fully realised. “The skyline is crowded with complex architecture, above-ground train-lines, fire escapes, endless billboards and the Broker Bridge in the distance.” People are reading newspapers, gesturing whilst talking on their mobile phones, people sitting on seats while talking and absent-mindly flicking dust off their jeans. “We really know we’re in Liberty City when we see an 80-year old granny staggering down the street as she takes swigs from a bottle of whiskey.” Broker has the real-life feeling of a bustling, lush new cityscape. You can hear radio when the car door is open, but I doubt every single person would have it blasted up so much that you could hear it from outside. Biggest lies from R* Any game will change in development. We can't just have every single minor detail put in the game, that takes up too much disk space. Besides, climbing up telephone poles is pretty much useless. Also, you shouldn't blame Rockstar for not putting these in the game, you should blame the press for lying about the content in the game and how you can't properly spell. with no new features No new features? Wind speed and direction? Objects that get affected by wind? Interactive convertible roofs? Animals? I have to agree, there's absolutely NO new features in the game. Ty: Waiting for the LONG awaited 4th title. Sly: Waiting for the long awaited 4th title. The Sims: Waiting for the urbz 2. (yea, everyone on mod the sims wants it) Resident Evil: Hey, look at them, they got all that info but have to wait till dec 2012 for RE6. Ratchet and clank: There waiting for a REAL game in the series. Besides that gay a** co-op all 4 one crap. We are not the only fanbase waiting for something. Theres fanbases that have not seen a game in years. Like Crash, Ty and Sly.
