cartelpimp Posted September 1, 2002 Share Posted September 1, 2002 If any1 has ever seen scar face, you will know what im talking about. scar face was made back in the late 70's i think, but its one of the coolest moives ive ever seen. tony montana (looks alot like the main guy in VC) is a cuban that just came over. they put him in a camp since he doesnt have a greencard. but he brakes out a starts to do missions (the first one involves a chainsaw mac-10 and screwdriver) for some guy. he climbs up in the rankings of the druglords (they all sell crack and stuff). he even goes to a "discoteca" where they play music like "rush rush", "im hot to night", and other songs on flashback FM. but those arent the only resemblances, he has an m4, and the cartel are f*cking with him through the whole movie. oh oh oh, did i mention that theyre helicopters in this movie? just thought id point out that these ideas arent all original... IF YOU LIKE GTA3, AND CANT WAIT FOR VC, WATCH SCAR FACE, ITS MY FAVORITE MOVIE OF ALL TIME!!! i need feedback becuase i dont think i covered all the resemblances, and i wanna know what poeple think of my theory...- Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

So it's pretty obvious that Les The Benz, Sam/Dan Houser or whoever's calling the shots is in to Scarface. Not to mention that Scarface takes place in 1980's Miami. I think he resembles tony monatana as well, and Scarface was made in 1983 by the way. The game deffinately will have tie ins with scarface, and other gangster movies. I think reservoir dogs is going to play a part in this too, seeing how there is a mr.black. Remember in reservoir dogs the guy asks " why can't I be Mr. Black" and the guys like" theres allready a mr.black, he's out on another job". But that's just my opinion. Anyways, I dont think everyone will agree with me but I am certain that Fernando Martinez' chat with Lazlo was scarface inspired.
