Do we want GTA V to parody Breaking Bad?

Since 2008 Breaking Bad has been such a popular and influencial crime TV series. I feel it would be stupid if they didn't incorperate at least something from it in there.

Would be cool to see a reference or two, nothing major though. Too much and it would just seem like they had no ideas of their own and just copied them from the show. If there are any missions based off that, I would prefer them to be very loosely based on the show. To give it an original feel, with the reminiscence of the show at the same time. Then all these people will miss out on it, because they haven't seen the show. Apparently they don't care, and I really don't care that they're missing out either. It's a great show BTW.

A little nod would be nice, nothing too big though. Like maybe a random ped that slightly resembles Walter White and wanders the desert in only his underwear muttering to himself with a gun

I'd love it if an RV camper meth lab out in the desert was one of your main assets. It'd be great if your meth operation offends the Mexican Cartel. To that extent, I'd like V to be like BB. I don't want the protag to have cancer or any illness, however. He should be healthy (and yes, even "old farts" like "Ned Puke" can be healthy).

 

I'd only want this plot-line to be a small part of the game, though. Not the main story. You should be able to own a pot farm too, among other things.

For those who never watched it.. do it. It's brilliant. The story, the acting (especially this) and everything.. it's just beyond the standard shows.

 

Anyway I wouldn't really like to see any parody of BB in GTA.. even though Breaking Bad has a dark humor. If GTA V involves any drug stuff then maybe about meth? I can imagine that.

Yeah it'd be cool to have some RV out in the desert being used as a meth lab. Maybe do a couple missions with a Walter White look alike, he could be like the GTA V version of the Truth even. Except he won't be an aging long haired hippy, but instead be a middle aged bald guy in his underwear sportin' a wicked goatee.

It's about an old, overquallified chemestry teacher who discovers he has terminal loung cancer

and decides to break bad at the age of 50 as a meth cook.

 

It's incredible in so many ways. Seen all 4 season twice.

And if it's overdone also works for people that don't know about the show. Heh.

 

Although, a drivable RV just like the one in the series would be awesome.

On a side-note, I think Breaking Bad is my favorite TV show of all time now (Haven't seen The Sopranos). It's just that great in more ways than one. Love how many things are carried and not forgotten season by season.

A little known fact is that Breaking Bad was actually going to be a series sequel to Malcolm in the Middle where Dewey dies, Hal gets cancer and the family starts a meth lab. Hal was turned into Walter, Lois became Skyler, Reese became Jesse and Craig became Gus.
