My The Sims graphic is better, I hope it was just a beta thing because I was hoping awesome graphics!! i was running the game only at high on 1080P. my PC isn't the greatest and setting it to ultra made the game only run at 10 to 15FPS for me.. which is why i plan on upgrading to 8GB RAM or 16GB RAM and gtx 660 TI soon but ive been pretty busy lately Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It must have been bad luck for me then not seeing any weather changes throughout my time playing the beta, or maybe rain just isn't on the beta.. Anyway, i didn't see ANY English looking houses in that video, and yeah agree'd we are being scammed straight away even before the games release. I didn't realize the deluxe edition came with half of those features! i just thought i was getting a few more landmarks. My friend brought up a good point earlier though, If the servers go down then we wont be able to play at all. I'm sure being EA servers they wont go down at all! Iv'e heard they are very reliable! [i'm pretty sure]Everything in that 'Digital Deluxe Edition' video has been shown in their early strategy and gameplay videos. That would kind of mean that no one has seen any of the base edition...and I still don't trust that the beta was anywhere near full. I will forever have hope that EA isn't the evil people make it out to be. Their history is too rich and too important to the video game industry. Not to mention EA's founder and I have the same name, and other weird things in common. I kind of don't like it how they put in a more cartoonish look to this game. Sim City 4 looked a little more serious. I still think they are a big step up from 4 even if they are cartoony. In terms of performance due to the fact it's heavy on the simulation side ram is going to be quite a big factor for this. It will be a bonus if i do get in but not the end of the world if i don't i'm still really looking forward to this. i'm not sure if you can cancel pre-orders after 2 weeks in witch case i would have thought it would be a better idea to offer people who pre-ordered before to get right of way for the beta, New pre-orders like you say maynot like it and just cancel it after playing the beta. personally i would think youd have to be mad to cancel after the beta alone due to the fact not everything is included within it anyway! These are elementary thing that should be in every SimCity. Anyways, I've got one more beta key from somewhere else, if anyone is interested just say so.
