If it comes to consoles, i will be happier, since the last cool console simcity was simcity 2000 and for PS1. (i like SC2000 on PS1. I have it on PS3 as a PSone classic, pretty good). EDIT: No simcity console releases were dumbed down to be honest. Besides Simcity Creator and Creator 2, but they were meant for consoles. I sure hope they would stick to being smart and release it as it should be...just and updated SimCity for the PC like a bunch of us have been waiting for all these years. I've never played it on a console so I can't speak from my own experience or anything. I loved 4, but only with sh*tloads of mods (NAM for example) The game lacked so much, such as dynamic road construction (able to make roads in ANY direction with intersections anywhere at any angle) and to zone at appropriate angles. There's only two things I want in SimCity 5, a jazz soundtrack and the humour that was all over SimCity 3000, like the wacky petitioners and the satirical style artwork for the characters. The game should also have a building generator. I hate seeing cities that all look the same because there are only so many buildings in the game, a building generator would fix that. I'm guessing (as with most Maxis games) there will be some sort of editor, modding tool, or some form of customization on release. Remember, simcity 2000,3000 and 4 had all those things: Landmarks, Building editor programs, building generator programs, etc. But those tools were for the windows versions only.
