i installed the mod again on a clean gta3.img

looks like it was a gta3.img bug sorry

Oh, I see. Bug fixing has come a long way, only 1 bug left (black trees on a distance). Anyone know a fix for this?

 

EDIT: Here's the problem, notice how in a distance, trees have dark stems, while closer leads them back to normal again? Same problem with the 256 version. This time, not just palms but all the trees.

I'm using the 256 mipmapped version and noticed some issues.

 

The leaves on some of the trees in the San Fierro area become more white from a distance, as if they're covered in snow. This occurs on the 512 version too.

Also, is this tree supposed to be like this? It only has a few tiny leaf/branch textures attached and looks really out of place (around east/southeast SF, and in some areas of LS).

Did you see my temporary fix?

 

Another fix will come in v2 when JF-Mir2 releases it.

 

For it to be properly fixed, i need YCH to rename the textures (remove those weird symbols from texture names), and then point the .dff's to the newly renamed textures icon14.gif

 

Either that, or wait for a new "native" TXD Editor that includes support for MipMaps moto_whistle.gif

A simplified version of palms Behind Space Of Realities 2013. In this version it is possible to refine somastoyatelnoy palm leaf. Just replace it with a new texture.

 

Installed over mod Behind Space Of Realities 2013: Classic version. Can be installed on the original game.

 

There are amplitude resolution textures

I have explained it before, but here it is again :

 

gta_procdesert.txd > joshua_treå_leaf_01 needs to be renamed to 'joshua_trea_leaf_01'

 

sand_josh1.dff and sand_josh2.dff need to point to this texture renamed texture, and all files uploaded to me, or JF-Mir2.

 

I can't create MipMaps for this .txd, until this problem is fixed. G-TXD doesn't support textures with symbols in the name. The 'å' is an illegal character, and will corrupt the texture if saved with G-TXD.

 

Also, in my previous fix I uploaded, I fixed the textures for sand_plant1.dff, sand_plant4.dff and sand_plant5.dff as you had the textures in the wrong .txd.

What is BSOR - Mipmapped Edition?

 

It's a modification of YourCreatedHell's vegetation mod (and DLCS) which adds mipmaps. Mipmaps remove the 'grainy' look of the vegetation on default, and makes the vegetation mod look better. It filters textures. Mipmapped Edition also adds mipmaps on grass.

 

In short, it makes your game look 'smoother'. And better. smile.gif Hope you like it. Enjoy. v2 fixes most bugs.

I can change the texture name the .dff points to via a hex editor? Even if .dff is locked?

I feel stupid that I didn't think of hex editing it before. I've hex edited ENB .dll many times (and other asi mods) to change paths/filenames. Don't know why I didn't think of it for the DFF model..

 

So I've fixed the problem with sand_josh1 and sand_josh2, not having mipmaps (and the whole gta_procdesert.txd not having mipmaps) icon14.gif

Elmtreegrn2_hi.dff, Elmsparse_hi.dff, Elmred_hi.dff, Elmred_hism.dff. All are using bsor_tree.txd

Using MED, luckily BSOR doesn't crash it unlike PO 2010.
