Why when I change resolution to lowest there is to roads buildings and some other textures?........My pc is low-end and I cant play on high resolutions confused.gif how can I fix this?

2. Whats your patch.

 

3. Are you using the steam or DVD retail copy of GTA IV?

and yeah, I know this pc is sh*t. confused.gif But before I re-installed gta I could run it smooth with no laggs on lowest settings. smile.gif

Before you do any of these options, reinstall the game and do this on a fresh copy.

 

 

Tips to maximize performance:

 

- Install latest graphics card drivers.

 

- If you are lagging, turn all the GTA IV graphics settings down to minimum.

 

- Installing Patch 1.0.4.0 will give you some FPS. Don't install patches above 1.0.4.0. You will loose FPS/get issues in game.

 

- Try to overcloak your CPU and Graphics Card for better performance. Just keep in mind, make sure to have a good and sufficent amount of Watt's for your PSU.
