Since GTA: San Andreas was such a massive success; we’ve always felt compelled to return to the West Coast. 1(a). So GTA V is a continuation of GTA: San Andreas? No, it is definitely not a continuation from the original. GTA V is the city of Los Santos and outer city limits, in a modern day setting. None of the story relates to any of the original characters from San Andreas. 2. Will GTA V feature multiple protagonists? We have implemented a completely new way of mission playing, and story telling. There is only one MAIN protagonist, which is all I can say. 3. How large is the map? GTA: San Andreas was renowned for the size of its world. This is our most ambiguous game we have ever produced. Expect it to be larger than all previous GTA’s combined, at the same time, the world will be more interactive than anything we’ve ever done before. 4. When will it be released? GTA V was originally planned as a late 2012 release, at this point in time, we are on target to achieve this quota. 5. What are some of the mini-games? There will be ample activities to do in Los Santos. Golf will be one, as we’ve already exposed in the trailer. We have worked with producing the mechanics for a surfing mini event, which may or may not make the final cut. We have also experimented with a duck shooting game. 6. Are there other cities in the game? Yes. The game takes place in Southern California, not Los Santos alone. However Los Santos is the only major city. We have looked at many of the towns and cities that lie south east of Los Santos. 7. Will San Fernando Valley be in the game? The short answer is, if it is in L.A then it is in Los Santos. We really want to leave no stone unturned. 8. Will any GTA IV characters be in GTA V? We may see one or two cameo roles, but nothing that will invoke the storyline. Niko Belic has not been written into the script, so we won’t be expecting him in the flesh. 9. Who is the protagonist? The next trailer will reveal a lot more about him, until then, this information is strictly off limits. 10. So when will we see the next trailer. Our current market strategy is solely Max Payne 3 based at the moment. However, I can tell you that GTA V has been in production for 4 years now, and we are extremely excited about what we have achieved, and look forward to sharing it with you in the not to distance future. Also on your other thread you mentioned there won't be another trailer until MP3 is released, so i'll wait to see if thats true and then you'll start to get some credibility from me(and a bunch of other people). This is interesting because it contains information which is actually plausible and makes a good guess at what we can probably expect from the game. What makes it fake is the fact that Rockstar don't leak (they just don't) and they don't do unofficial. Furthermore they have made a point of being very much tighter lipped on this game than usual, if that's possible. So that's what makes ANY so-called information undeniably fake. But we'd still all like to know where you found it. Post a link or something. Or if there isn't a link, just say that you found it in your brain. Given the release date for TBOGT dlc, i would say they been working on the game for 2 to 2 1/2 years tops. And as far as saying they expect the game to be out at end of 2012, i actualy dout that, maybe it could hapen, but i keep thinking more of 2013 after watching the trailer so many times.
