Or maybe do something like in Bully where you have to buy or unlock them, or make them customizable. In my opinion, I never really used the bikes unless I had bunny hop cheat turned on, you know, the one where you can hop over buildings/jump really high? So I could live w/o them. I hate speed bikes (or whatever you call them) since it don't last long at all, and I can't see how anybody can ride a tiny BMX. I'm not a f*cking clown! What next? Driving a Little Tike car with a weed wacker engine in it? Anyways, yes, I hope pedal bikes are in GTA V. They would be awesome as long as we can have decent bunnyhops. GarrowsKai Posted February 14, 2012 Share Posted February 14, 2012 I'd love bikes, but not just BMX (as people have mentioned a middle age protag would look a bit ridiculous bunny hopping through LA traffic haha) they should definitely have mountain bikes for blasting through the country side and regular town bikes as well. Maybe a road racing bike as well. Like the cars they all have pros and cons, BMX can do tricks and can handle well at slower speeds but isn't very fast, racing bike is fast but lacks handling and stability at slow speeds, town bike is a balance of the two, with none of them being very good off road. They weren't used enough in San Andreas except in the introduction and the racing down the mountain and triathlon, so maybe GTA V can make more use of them. And they were not bad at all in San Andreas to ride, except for the fact that they were like horses in RDR, that you had to keep clicking the A, X or W to ride them fast, instead of just pressing the button. This is why people should want bikes in regardless if theyll use them or not... Smashing head on into a guy on a crotchrocket sends them soaring in GTA IV.. I imagine itd be even more intense with a pedal bike... Rolling down the hills / mountains hitting "sweet jumps" would be a ton of fun as well..
