How large will GTA V be in terms of GBs?

Here are some other game sizes as a comparison

San Andreas 2.9 GB

Skyrim 3.8 GB*

Just Cause 2 4.1 GB*

Fallout 3 5.5 GB

Bioshock 2 6.4 GB

GTA IV 6.6 GB

Red Dead Redemption 6.7 GB

Saints Row 3 - 7.0 GB

Batman Arkham City 7.7 GB

Mass Effect 2 - 6.4/6.0 2 disc

Battlefield 3 - 7.3/6.7 GB 2 disc

Final Fantasy 13 - 5.9/5.8/6.6 3 disc

Lost Odyssey - 5.4/4.6/5.8/5.9 4 disc

LA Noire CE - 6.6/6.5/6.5/6.4 4 disc

To clarify, these figures are for xbox360, from a list of install sizes

*Surprised these 2 games are relatively small in size, I would have expected them both to be larger, especially Skyrim. Never been interested in playing Skyrim really, but I just assumed it was a huge game.

If the entire game is one disc I expect it to be at least 7.5 GB.

If 2 discs how will it be divided? by story? or by map area ie 1 disc city 1 disc countryside?

15+ GBs , BTW Uncharted 2 was 22 GB and Uncharted 3 was 45 GB so i wouldnt be surpirsed if GTA V is 15-20 GB of size (which mean 2-3 disks for xbox 360 version)

GTA San Andreas 2,9 GB?? GTA 4 6,6GB?? Wtf. Your infos of other games are unrealistic too. Skyrim actually needs 6GB. JC2 needs 10GB! If I am not wrong, GTASA got almost 5GBs (i think 4.7GB) and GTA4 around 16GBs.

Did you get those infos from a drug dealer or something?

Anyways... I think GTA5 will be around 20 - 25GB.

San Andreas is 2.9GB - I know this for certain because I have installed it myself, no point you arguing about it

As for the other games, it was just a few selected games I chose, I got them from a list of install sizes

If you saw different figures for each game, good for you, no need to get angry about it is there

The list is not important, the question I am asking is how large will GTA V be?

Actually, RockstarNiko is right. I can vouch for his answers since I've also downloaded San Andreas and installed Skyrim on my XBOX360 Slim. Skyrim, shockingly, came out to only 3.9GB believe it or not. I was also surprised by the figure.

Red Dead Redemption 6.7GB, Mass Effect 2 Disc 1 - 6.4 GB / Disc 2 - 6.0 GB + DLC's

For more figures, please visit: XBOX 360 Install Size List

Also, as the size lists: The August 11, 2009 dashboard update allowed games to be installed at a smaller size than previously reported. Games marked with an asterisk (*) have sizes listed before the update. If you have an updated size, please send it in as soon as possible. -- so, many of the sizes have been optimized for the XBOX.

That's the PC versions.

Uncharted is PS3 exclusive, and PS3 has 50GB discs, so exclusive PS3 titles can be stored pretty much completely uncompressed. It doesn't mean Uncharted could never fit on a 8GB DVD.

He is talking about xbox360 versions, not PC versions.

Be surprised if GTA V will be 2 discs for PS3...

If that so,how many GB is that?

That would be atleast 15gb for it to be more than one blu-ray I think.

If it's multiple disks then it'll be split by missions rather than areas because it would be a major annoyance having to switch disks every time you go to a particular area.

Surprised that Saints Row 3 takes up more than GTA 4. I played saints row 3 and the map seemed tiny and its not as detailed as GTA 4. I guess all that memory is the sh*tload of stuff to do tounge.gif

I think this will be the last Grand Theft Auto on 1DVD..... between 7.9GB and 8.3GB.

Really? Trust me, after GTA 5, we wont see another one until 2017-19, the PS4 and next xbox should be able to hold 3 times as much as now? I dont know?

here is my dilemma...

if the game ships on multiple discs for the 360, then I will get it on PS3, however if the 360 has the option of installing all the discs and playing off one disc then i will get it on the 360 as most of my friends own one!

I guess the PC version will be around 15-20GB, a bit larger than GTA4. I don't care about the console version size, it's just compressed to hell anyway.
