MP "Starting Game" screen lag

Alright recently a few friends of mine and now I do as well have this extreme lag after you join a server in MP. You are about to spawn on the map, and it says "starting game...", but your gta starts to lag like crazy, and you usually end up with a "disconnected because your game was running slow"

I managed to spawn on a server a few times, but it's like, you join a server, you alt tab for 3 seconds, you alt tab back, lag still occurs, and then you pray you spawn on the server. Once you spawn, there's no problem at all, you can play properly without any lag.

Anyone have any idea what might be causing it, I only get this in GTA IV and I'm using the same mods as in EFLC (also everything worked fine before in GTA IV with the exact same mods) so it's not the mods. I also know a friend who has the same problem in EFLC.

I've spent countless hours trying to fix the dozen or so bugs/glitches that hamper the online playing experience. Fact is there isn't much we can do; the game is a total mess.

 

Try getting someone from a diff. part of the world to start the game so you connect to a diff. R$ server.

 

I know this sounds a bit much butmaybe remove ENB if you're all using it. Some of my friends using ENB had the same issue just this week. Boris is way too angry to update it properly for 1.0.7.0/EFLC. I have cut my lags, errors and glitches in half by removing it.

And yes, weeks could go by without too many glitches with ENB. Then bam, all this crap you just mentioned.
