SuperPineapple
I bought GTA iv thru d2d, which is gamefly now. I have a windows 7 i7-2700k 3.50ghz cpu, ATI hd 6970 crossfire, 16gig ram. computer. but i cant play the game properly. no matter how i set up commandline.txt, the game is telling me that its near or exceed my computer something. under options where you change settings, when everything at low it shows 4xx mb / 4xxx mb in orange. why would it be in orange? the game takes forever to load as if something was wrong with my graphics card. when it does load, its all fuked up. like the game doesnt load properly, i see no buildings, just cars and walls are invisible. I dont have the lastest patch becuase the game wont even start with it. i get stuck on the RGSC screen. I tried running it under windows sp compatibility mode, but that also didnt work. I have so much video memory i am suprised the game is saying otherwise. i did got the game to run one time, but it crashed after 2 mins, got a fatal erro, RSC10? something like that. I run crysis on max but i can barely load up gta iv, i need help to fix this problem please!!
luceberg
I would suggest disable crossfire as GTA 4 runs best on a single gpu. Also, update graphics driver to the latest version.
