rippi
Hi searched through this topic already, but still none can give good answer. let me show you pic for what is negative camber : anyone know how can I make negative wheel camber like this on vehicle in GTA IV ? tried messing with the handling.dat by editing suspension raise line below 0 value, also increase/decrease this value : (Sf) m_fSuspensionForce (Scd) m_fSuspensionCompDamp (Srd) m_fSuspensionReboundDamp (Su) m_fSuspensionUpperLimit (Sl) m_fSuspensionLowerLimit still no go and this what I get : as you can see from above pic, the camber stay positive, as a result the wheels exceed the vehicle fender. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If I use simple native trainer program by enabling lower car force, it worked, but it produces annoying sound, this is the result : I want all the peds use lower car too, not just me also, already tried editing model Flags hex in handling.dat by changing mcpherson strut F/R as well as the reverse one according to this quote i found for GTA SA : AXLE_F_REVERSEand AXLE_R_REVERSE ---------------------- when using AXLE_F\R_MCPHERSON both wheels wheels will have positive camber (bottom of wheel will be pointing inside of car and top of wheel will be pointing away from the car) - as you know. when you use AXLE_F\R_REVERSE it reverses the effect of AXLE_F\R_MCPHERSON and gives both wheels a negative camber (bottom of wheel will be pointing away from the car and top of wheel will be pointing towards the inside of the car) it is clearly visible when you flip a car over. to see for you self try: AXLE_F_MCPHERSON + AXLE_F_REVERSE + AXLE_R_MCPHERSON when you flip over you will see the rear wheels point inwards and the fronts point outward. the AXLE_F_REVERSE and AXLE_R_REVERSE flags only come into effect when using the MCPHERSON suspension setup. still not working, probably I got wrong hex code. don't want to use any 3d modeler, because by only using SNT it works! NaidRaida
By lowering the "Raise" parameter the wheels of most car models will tend to get a small negative camber effect. I don´t know why but it look a bit like negative camber (like your Beamer pic). But the effect could be so small that the wheel may touch the fender first which mostly look horrible. I think to get a real camber effect you will not get around a 3D modelling tool. Most models are protected from model changes anyway. I didn´t find a way to create such effect with pure handling editing so far (except for "Raise" parameter) and I doubt there is a way without changing the model itself.
