GtA-MaNiAc88 Posted August 31, 2002 Share Posted August 31, 2002 hey guys...i dont know if any of you have noticed but the banshee has changed to a totally different car... its actually a corvette...a 1993 corvette to be exact..now..why doesnt this make sense? cuz the game is set in the 80's which means that car model isnt even out yet...hey its not that big of a deal but whatever... heres a pic of the 1993 Corvette: http://community.webshots.com/storage...._ph.jpg now go compare that with the Banshee in VC..well guys please reply to this and give me some feedback..also if you guys have any problems or have spotted mistakes with VC already..post em here!!!!!!!! Trunks21 Posted August 31, 2002 Share Posted August 31, 2002 now think about this General Motors uses a relitivaly close car model each year for about 10 years for most cars usually exceptions include the 53'-55' the model only lasted 3 years. eg. the 97-present vetts are preatty close. now the corvette in the game could be from the range of 84'-96' they are all the same except some minor changes also R* couldn't make it close to any one more than another because they are so close that is why you thought it was a 93' but instead it could be any one from84 to 96 because the are so close. exact copying calls for R* to be licenced but they aren't going that far. sorry for the poor quality here is the 84' Chevrolet Corvette -Tmo2' Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Clown-O-Matic Posted August 31, 2002 Share Posted August 31, 2002 Just like the PSG-1 they have in VC, the psg-1 is a police sharpshooter weapon wich costs over 10.000$, i don't think police corpses can afford that, they prefer the m24 anyways. I mean, from the screenshots, it's obvious that the Vice banshee is a Chevrolet Corvette. But in GTA3, the banshee didn't look anything like the Corvette at all! Even considering that the '84 vette looks a bit different from the '97-03. The GTA3 banshee looks more like some sort of small Viper or something.. cartelpimp Posted September 2, 2002 Share Posted September 2, 2002 you must drive like sh*t becuase the banshee has probably the second best handling in the game next to the cheetah, let go of the gas once in a while when did we start talking about gta4? once again, rockstar can do whatever the hell they want... and the thing with the banshee... think about how camaros have changed, they didnt look how they do today back in the 80's, kinda like the banshee in gta3. the banshee in gta3 VC comes before the other, and dont forget the 20 years difference... one last thing, its not called a corvette, so it doesnt have to look like a corvette, the game isnt real life, if it was... no1 would live in miami or liberty city (if there was one). this world would be f*cked up if it was like gta3... In 91-96 they changed the front and rear bumpers blus painted the body moldings to match the color of the car. The vette in the video is clearly the older body style.
