Would you like to play GTA V like a TV series?

No.

If I'm paying for a game, I'd prefer the full story first, additional DLC in a year or 6 months that does what TBoGT and TLaD do, add on to the story with new characters, or at least new missions.

I don't want to get half the story now, and have to pay every month to "unlock" the next part of the story. this idea seems like it came from someone who plays COD, and willingly pays for a "3 map pack" that comes out a month after game release.

with episodic downloads like that, you may as well look at TLaD and TBoGT, because like TV shows, game stories take time to write, and develop. you'd be seeing 6 month dry spells then BAM mission pack, just like TV show seasons. I can't see Rockstar being able to afford to do that and not sell each season for like, $30 a pop.

I can see small patches here and there that may change up the car spawns a bit, or may change billboards, posters and stuff, NPC skins, etc, followed by a bigger Mission Pack that includes a few small addons, plus say... 8 missions. you don't miss out on much this way, just 8 side missions from a new person,

maybe a "rich man's property" DLC, converts more buildings to buyable stores and rentable residences.

so for example

patch1: free

two new NPC skins for downtown los santos.

some random posters in the city are changed.

bug fixes

two new car skins(custom car upgrade)

patch 2: free

more new NPC skins, ghetto LS and Rural bloke skins.

change some posters

highway billboards change.

bug fixes

patch 3: free

a couple buildings reskinned with "coming soon" signs, and windows covered up with boards or newspapers

a couple billboards pop up advertising new stores, and two new cars (one being a new model of a current car in the retail GTAV

bug fixes (if any)

DLC1: $8

new person with 8 missions for you crops up.

main story character comes out with side missions, 6 total, at the end you unlock his apartment or house as a safehouse.

six new cars come out.

1 new safehouse available

2 new retail stores available.

assorted new NPC skins related to retail stores.

(total it out, 14 missions, 1 new safehouse, 2 stores to generate income, new cars available in traffic.)

patch 4: free

DLC1 bug fixes.

2 new npc skins (desert people)

poster for "coming soon" new dirt bike/rural toy.

Patch 5: free

bug fix

poster changes

NPC skins

some new car skins

patch 6: free

various poster changes

more buildings borded up with "coming soon" on them.

billboards with "coming soon" and store logo's.

DLC2: $10

New stores and restaraunts open and available to buy.

couple new cars come out (including rural toy)

new npc's with missions.

buy a car dealership, store/display rare cars here. you can store 8 of your own vehicles in the dealership's display area, with two spots reserved for unlocked cars (see below)

two new rare cars released.

when the parking lot gets low (cars get sold) you can play the minigames to replenish the stock.

car dealer comes with 1 minigame, this game unlocks both rares car for your dealer when completed. (can only get the two new cars from these minigames.

unlock other display cars during these minigames (not as valuable, they sit out in the parking lot as "stock." ))

minigame = car theft for cash. half the cash per car goes to the dealer to get new stock, other half goes to you.

dealer also has a customization garage in the back of the lot.

new "rural toy" comes with a new race minigame out in the country somewhere...

Patch 7: free

bug fixes.

basically there would be the first patch, second patch, teaser patch, DLC, bug fix patch, teaser patch, next DLC, can repeat if desired, remove or add things to patches/DLC if you please.

I hate DLCs, you shell out on a game, and then a few months later they release another part of it, and lets face it, we all love GTA here so we all really think we should buy it. Just a way to get more money out of us. I will never buy any DLC content, even for GTA.

I would only say this:Episode Three!

And I would only answer this: There won't be any Episode 3, it jumps to HL3
