GarrowsKai Posted February 13, 2012 Share Posted February 13, 2012 In both San Andreas and IV there were numerous rumours regarding random events, supernatural NPCs and strange events, however none of these were ever confirmed by R* and none appeared to even be true. Things like Bigfoot and serial killers in the SA countryside and the Hobo/Ratman thing in the subway of IV. I for one was disappointed that nothing like that was ever actually included and think R* missed a trick to add some really interesting elements into the games. Hopefully with a return to countryside areas, and all the interest that surrounded the myths of SA, R* might actually add a couple of secret or strange characters into the game. Adslegend Posted February 13, 2012 Share Posted February 13, 2012 In the countryside, maybe in a small cave, there could be evidence that a cannibal once inhabited it with skulls scattered round on the floor and blood stains on the ground and walls. Think about how cool it would be to go into the woods, just BSing when you find a body! Maybe have it so you keep hearing news reports about it throughout the game and he could rarely be found around the countryside from the beginning of the game. When you're in the countryside you may come across the killer, but not in a mission/cutscene sense. You find him and he mentions something about killing and you can kill him or just flee. If you kill him he never appears again, even if you kill him right near the start of the game and then news reports come out about the killer being killed. He never has any impact on the missions and the longer you leave it the more prolific the killings become, but also makes him easier to find by getting clues from new reports. They don't have to directly include him, but possibly a news flash about a mysterious creature being spotted in the countryside, or some footsteps which give evidence he's been around. The thing is, once you include something that's a myth, remember that it can no longer be called a myth, as myth's are only for things that don't actually exist when people think that they do. I want the people to be surprised in the time they put trying to find him.. I think they MUST make him appear only if you played the game 1000+ hours of GTA V.. OT: I hope the following myths/wierd things are added to the game (AND) the online Free Roam; 01: Bigfoot / Sasquatch, Along with people hiking through the forests with video camera's, hoping to catch a glimpse of the beast. 02: UFO's / Aliens, Maybe in an Undead Nightmare type DLC. Like there could be reports about him and you go and talk to a person that says they know someone who went missing in a hidden area but when you get there only a shoe is left. Maybe you meet the killer and who knows what would happen. I would also like a Bigfoot in there somewhere like if they have a radio station like the wild traveler and people call in saying weird things about a monster living up in the woods and maybe a Bigfoot is there but would only appear at a certain time on a certain day. I think Ghost Cars would be cool like if you went into the country side to a place no one is around maybe you get ran over by a car but no one is driving plus it would be super hard to steal it. NovaSix Posted February 14, 2012 Share Posted February 14, 2012 (edited) I really hope the Sasquatch makes it into the game, but very rare, also UFO's in the sky would be great, just imagine, your driving in the country side by some farms and you see a UFO taking off leaving a crop circle, or maybe an abductie lying in the field, and when you look back up the UFO flys off being pursued by military jets, how cool would that be! Also a swamp with rundown cabins with blood stains would give the country a creepy feel, also a serial killer, and bodies in the woods would be neat Edit: A cult would be fantastic too! Imagine walking through the Forrest at night then you see a bunch of hooded figures standing in a circle. People will come up with a lot of bullsh*t and it will be proven to be a myth (e.i not true). Supernatural stuff, and very weird events haven't really occurred since gta SA. Its the only gta game where there are solid EVIDENCE for all this. However I do hope that it will be some of this in GTA V but its gotta be very rare, and not extreme stuff, such as aliens with M60s. There is no point to include Bigfot in DLCs, or patches, either. The whole point with this is that its gotta very rare, and maybe not even exist. For those of you who havent seen it I compiled a movie about things such as this in SA. Its all captured from the PS2 from 2004-2007. (Would be cool to like find a grave or something, in the middle of a forest, and sometimes here something, maybe some woman crying or something, would be kinda scary ;p, or an abounded house) - Money Pit. (Oak Island, money pit reference, hidden inside the woods, with the stone tablet having strange symbols/language) - Lake Monster. - Adventurer.
