GTA-King
Well atlest R* answerd the burning question on when we will get more info. Now all we have to do is wait a few months longer... Here's my tip on waiting. It's worked out pretty well for me so far. I always make milestones for myself on a calender. That way I can look forward to random simple stuff to keep my mind off GTA V. Here's some examples of mine: -March 13th = Silent Hill Downpour -March 20th = Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City -April 15 = My trip to Mississippi -May 4th = The Avengers -May 15th = Max Pain 3 If you make milestones for yourself like this, it makes the wait a bit more bearable. InstantCClassic
F'n great. Good that Rockstar acknowledged GTA V's existence, but I can't wait any more. Months? Seriously?
Blazevski12
I guess in may\june we will get second trailer., and then GTA V coming in 2013 .... Anyway i realy think Rokstar don't know what they are doing with V., i'm more exsited about a possible new L.A Noire then for GTA V ( i'm honest here). SGT. Johnson
Okay, can this put a stop to the Las Venturas and San Fierro people now? They were asked about it and they said Los Santos. BUT THEY DIDN'T SAY NOT LAS VENTURAS AND SAN FIERRO THEREFORE IT'S CONFIRMED THEY WILL BE IN THE GAME (obviously kidding) Either way, it's sort of sad we won't hear anything for a few more months but it's better to know this and not get our hopes up for information anytime sooner. However, ignorant people will be ignorant. That will most likely be the "excuse" that the SFers/LVers will use. Some people can never see the blind truth even if it's staring them in the face ready to bite it off like a cobra!

I think they are just careful with this, so they don`t have to give us a 6-8 month delay again... But I really hope they didn`t use GTAV trailer to get more people to notice MP3, cause there where suddenly a lot of MP3 news after the GTAV trailer. Chillzz01
It's official for me, R* are dropping the ball here, big time. Big fat middlefinger to them. What the f*ck are they doing? Releasing a trailer all of a sudden, then decide to just keep quite about this game? What the f*ck kinda strategy is that??? Do they think we're all little kids or idiots? Showing us some footage of their precious little Grand Theft Auto 5 would keep us juiced for 6 months after trailer release??? F*ck 'em, seriously. This is not professional at all. This is a random approach to start a GTA V campaign without any thought or consideration. F*cking losers GET YOUR GAMES FINISHED WITHIN THE DEADLINE FOR ONCE YOU F*CKING BUMS. Jesus. SGT. Johnson
It's like what most of us have been saying; Rockstar is a company and therefore do not work on GTAs alone. they have other games that must be released. The problem is that GTA is such a popular title that GTA fans and Rockstar fans simply associate Rockstar with GTA and therefore believe that Rockstar should work on their most popular title first. Once that is done, then release the other, less popular titles. However, they are a gaming company, therefore, they will release othr games besides GTA V. Be patient. This sounds like a giant middle finger but it will be worth the wait. ['Nuff Said] (Look; I'm just like Hydro!)
JasonBrody
We predicted this, didn't we? We did, but I for one didnt really believe it for a while, as it seemed so godamn anal. But here we are..... The stupid part is, it's GTA that bails T2 and the other R* studios out every time they balls up a release. Now North cant discuss V because of the mess the other 4 studios made with MP3. Jeeebuuus
They also seem to have a problem with saying something like, "No, LV and SF will not be in GTA V". They can't do it. StalinBballin
Scroll down a bit more. “Hey R* is there gonna be something more about L.A. Noire?” - Dezpoztomuz While there won’t be any more DLC or additional content for the current release of L.A. Noire (we’re all too busy working on Max Payne 3, GTAV and other games to come), don’t count out the possibility of a new game in the L.A. Noire franchise in the future. ... I can't take that about LA Noire seriously, especially since we all know what happened to them! I disagree. They said: "We’re all very pleased with how that game turned out and are considering what the future may hold for L.A. Noire as a series. We don’t always rush to make sequels, but that does not mean we won’t get to them eventually" So, it's going to be awhile, maybe the same amount of time it took to make L.A. Noire, but I'm not ruling out a sequel. Besides, R* doesn't need Bondi to make a sequel and take over a franchise game... coughmaxpaynecough. Damage limitation, thats the whole theme since IV came out. Geographically, I cant see them being able to get those two cities in, without having a seriously odd map. As im in cynic mode, Ill wager that theyre using the whole SA thing psychologically; letting people get those SA memories flooding back so they think it will be a return to past glory. Reality is probably a delayed IV.5 that brings back the essentials that people moaned about last time, and they'll claim it's all new. Oh yeah, I was buggering off till May.... Only R* knows why they do that. If they want us to believe that its only LS and surrounding blah, blah, then it would put to rest anyones wrong ideas(especially people who don't debate GTA on forums) about the game if they would give a straight answer. For the third time when asked about it they said the same thing almost word for word as if that is the only way they are allowed to adress it. Its fishy. It's a fictionized version of Los Vegas and besides, the last time I heard, Los Vegas is in the state of Nevada. Rockstar needs to continue this Southern California route and look at cities like Burbank, Laguna Beach, and Silicon Valley. This is where they can implement fictional Internet companies or spoof Facebook.

There is a solution to the whole awkward map thing. Here's how they can do it. Optical illusions. They can do this by the following ways: *Draw Distance: When we are in SF, we probably won't see the LS Skyline. Not only that, the draw distance can make the map look bigger than it really is. *Transition: LS and SF can only be a few miles apart, but the transition of the terrain could make it a lot bigger. *Highways: As long as R* avoids putting direct highways, that makes the map feel bigger. In SA, the SF-LS highway felt long because it wasn't really direct. You passed through a lot of countryside.
Neo Arcadia
Maximum jimmy rustling achieved; I MAD. Inb4 nothing is said about GTA V even after Max Payne In The Ass is out, and Trailer #2 just happens to come out right before Agent's or whatever is coming next's advertisement begins. Inb4 "Stop whining." f*ck you. I have been patient. I have waited years. I have seen the "Where Is the Blue" and Genesis wild goose chases staged by the admins. I have seen R*'s blatant bait and switch scheme with the trailer. Sigh... I'm just so disillusioned right now. First it was Mangastream effectively dying a few days ago, and now it's this. Would a single screenshot or a bit of story info really kill MP3?

I thought another is to have them as 'satellite' sections of map, where you can fly back and forth but not drive. Doubtful, but I wouldnt have a problem with it. Unfortunately, I think R* are on some nerd trip now with recreating real world space, rather than being truly creative and throwing all the sh*t to the wind.
