Looks likely to be an October release I would deduce, then. May 25th probably. Minus a day (Damn filter) Unlikely, as it would be just after the PC release of Max Payne 3. July 24th possibly. Why July 24th in particular? Again, none of us have any idea - but June is always a good bet for Rockstar to release information/get the huge information ball rolling in time for an October release. You're right, none of us have any idea, but I think June is just too early. Max Payne 3 has to have its time in the spotlight, and a month isn't long enough for what Rockstar (and a few people here) consider an AAA game. Remember this? But the first GTA IV trailer came out around six months before the game's original intended release date. The game was initially announced at E3 2006 and it took nine months after that to get the first trailer. We got nothing but a logo during that time. I'm starting to agree with the people who said they are using GTA V at this point as a promotional tool for Max Payne 3. It wouldn't at all surprise me if in the run up to Max Payne 3 we get another gta v trailer to draw the hits to R*'s website/Max Payne 3 cinematic/launch trailer featured/linked/plastered all over R*'s website/youtube, etc. Game Informer reveal will likely follow the second trailer so if GTA V is revealled in the May Game Informer the trailer will be late april. If the trailer is mid-May the full Game Informer reveal will probably be the June issue. This. MP3 is definitely floating on the success of GTA and the hype for GTA V. People should start realizing we probably get more information on GTA V because of Max Payne 3, not the other way around. Without MP3, R* would start up the hype machine for GTA V 6-8 months before release like they always do, but we got a trailer a full year in advance. We should consider us lucky. I'm really happy that they said its going to be their BIGGEST open world game ever.. Which means its even bigger than RDR!! Thats what i wanted.. a HUGE map! , Thank You R* / Cant Wait for GTA V! No, we did not get any new information aside from the timeframe for new info. They only restated the same thing about it being their biggest game to date which they already said on Nov. 3, the day after the trailer launched. I know I can last "a few months," but it would have nice if they were a bit more clear as to when we will get more info. Let's say it's true that we do get more info after MP3 is released. As soon as MP3 drops, and they push it a little more on the twitter feed (every twitter is about MP3!) then I hope they can focus on giving us more info. I think we will have it this year. T2 has already lost a ton of money, plus the delay on MP3 has cost them as well..financially, it makes sense to put out these two game this year. I'm with most of you though, waiting sucks. If R* hold true and then April will most likley be it! May is round 3 months, so I think April. April 18th to be exactly when we will hear or see info on GTA V! Why this date? Because of distance on Hole 8, Par 3 golfcourse board! It reads 169 Yards! If from the Tee to Pin is 169 yds, which is a distance, then I was thinking that maybe 169 yards is actually days until trailer/info date for GTA V info? I added 169 days to 11/02/11, the launch day of the trailer, an got 04/18/2012, which is a Wednesday? Just a thought, mostly likely it means nothing. Sorry for the big picture.......... But San Diego needed help from North to wrap up RDR, just like Team Bondi needed help with LAN. None of the other studios are as capable as North, can't just replace them with "a R* studio" really.
